It def depends, will say those who have ADHD, those negative health factors such as poor sleep can be resolved by stimulant meds. I have maintenance insomnia and take meds at abt 4am and sleep few more hrs

I think having a pre workout isn’t just for endurance and energy or that initial extra pump . It’s sometimes about the extra benefits on your muscles when lifting.

I lift four days a week. I’ll have 1 Zyn on my off day. So about 3-4 zyns a week. No coffee. Caffeinated tea is my substitute.

The bottom line is you can train at levels not achievable without stimulants. Look at just a few of the tests conducted on starving prisoners of war. You can grow lots of muscle on stimulants.

Not if you're eating and sleeping enough. If you're taking it every single day it can cause a buildup of fatigue.

Try switching to Vyvanse, it’s healthier long term

@@vormund2475I lover vyvanse and it made me feel so muc better but I developed a rare side effect so I har to stop taking. Fuck stimulant medications ruins ur brain

Thoughts on escalating density training for athletes? How often in offseason? Can i use squat and deadlift as well as bench press and some sort of rowing?

I would say I "abuse" caffeine and I fall asleep within minutes on 8 every night if not 9 and I wake up at 5 to go To the gym every morning, maybe that's just training my body to do that but If your smart about when you take caffeine then it won't be a problem

@@HIB801 Thanks - I just started them this week, Life changer!! But I am a little reluctant to go crazy with exercise as my BP is elevated on them, 150/90ish

@@kh2716 so life changing it’s unbelievable. Ya I’ll take my meds then lift like an hour later. I don’t touch pre workout anymore. Ya w higher heart rate it’s just another kick in the but for me to lose some weight that’s for sure.

@@HIB801 thanks for the response. My BP is around 150/90 which is higher than I’d expect. Do you know what yours is during a working day? Im in pretty good shape but I am thinking of getting stricter on diet to tackle it.

So, yeah, people with ADHD. High anxiety and self-medicating, with massive amounts of caffeine and carbohydrates. not to mention self-medicating with booze to get sleep. Maybe what I need most of all is to just get my grind and go monk mode leaving all that crap behind.

Three dates or 2 banana before workout try this. I never took these stupid stimulant before workout.. natural sources like dates and banana are the best prr workout you can have
