Okay ... vom Sohn des legendären Steve Lukather erwartet man einiges, was Trev ja schon bei "Levara" unter Beweis gestellt hatte. Dort haben sie ihn ja, wer weiß warum auch immer, vor die Türe gesetzt und der Junior musste nach einem neuen Projekt Ausschau halten. Gefunden hat er "The Effect" ( oder sie ihn? ). Fest steht, dass hier mal ordentlich die Post abgeht. Guter, gepflegter und ehrlicher Rock, der in den Ohren stimmig klingt. Wobei der Sohnemann ( Trev ) die Gitarre zupft und Töne aus ihr hervorlockt, wie sein alter Herr. Ja, der Apfel fällt nicht weit vom Stamm. Bleibt zu hoffen, das "The Effect" nicht wieder so eine Eintagsfliege wird, wie "Levara" zuvor und wir mehr als nur ein gepflegtes Album vor die Nase und auf die Ohren bekommen.
