The Efficacious Way to get Orichalcum Ore in Frostborn - JCF

Orichalcum is the rarest and most valuable resource in the game allowing you to build some of the best items in the game, but the only zone in which you can mine it is a pvp bloodbath. So in this video I'm going to show you the most efficient way to get this resource.
Currently, the only place to get Orichalcum is in Helheim Rifts which spawns every hour on the hour throughout the day and last 15 minutes. This zone is full of extremely difficult enemies each with their own skills, but these enemies are not the biggest danger in this zone. Rather, the biggest danger is that this is a PVP zone in which the requirements to get in is to be over level 70 and have a gear score of at least 350. These steep requirements make it to where you will only run into serious players with a significant amount of gear on. Furthermore, they will know that you have good gear on you which will make them want to kill you for your gear.

Hey JCF, Loved all your videos, great work. Being following since LDOE and still following. Stopped playing LDOE and started FrostBorn (Asia) yesterday. Lost my Large Sack the moment I enter the Green PVP wood map, didn't notice it :( I have two quick questions - 1. Where can I find Dragon Scales? I have been farming both the Green Wood and Green Iron spot but to no avail. 2. I am currently investing in the sorcerer (253/500), saw your video on this - not sure if it is a good PVE class as I intend to farm/gear up before investing on the PVP aspect of the game. My question is related to the mastery, which gear/armor is best to pump the mastery or they are all the same - depending on the variety?

Great video with tips! Sadly that ressource is not as valuable as it should, because of lvl disctrict restrictions (and the hard limit on silver unless you pay for it), you can't get a purple bag unless lvl111 disctrict which means spending a lot of real money which means you already have a purple bag (or more). You can't even trade it. It's not worth risking your purple gear for something that you'll get in 6 months. people will lose interest and pay to win players with high level disctricts will farm it easilly, and trade the instigator sets. You can already see people offering Orichalcum on trade servers. Full pay to win content, disguised in free to play improvement.
