"Brahmanda" is an ancient Sanskrit word for the Universe, it means "The Great EGG"! "Aham Brahmasmi" - It's I which was, is, and will be, and all that's seen and not seen; Liberation is when Atman (I, the Soul) realize it's indistinction or oneness with the Brahman (the Ultimate Supersoul) - Adi Shankaracharya (8th century India) based on Vedic texts. Also, the concept of Karma, and taking birth, again and again, has been there in India and it's theological schools since time immemorial.

Hinduism allows individual to follow any path with focus and dedication because that would lead one to enlightenment. Because all these are mere instruments in path of enlightenment one can carry instrument which best suits his need but at end there's only enlightenment

The question you ask at the end that why don't we all combine as we are all right is actually quite true. Infact, it used to be a thing too. Try researching about ancient indians' religion. It was so complex that when the British came, they couldn't give it a specific name and just decided to call it hinduism. There is Bhakti: Good old idol worshipping. Nastika: Rejects worshipping gods. Aghori: Worship death. Not satanists.Just people who find peace in the fact that life ends. Sanyasi: Go to the forest away from materialistic life. Exploration of self and considering oneself to be the whole meaning of life. Not in egotistical way ofc.Though some sansyasis were just hipsters too. Karmyogi: Modern common money maker.God or not, no need to care.Just need money. And a lot more. And these are all still a part of the same religion, hinduism. Why? Because there is one thing common with them. They all believe that the universe itself is all there is.What the Western religions would call a God even. However, this God isn't a superior being. It's unconsious, infinite, and not understandable. The gods, the people and everything comes out of it and will mix back into it. This can be seen as an eternal death or what is referred to as, "moksha". Then, how did this diverse peaceful settlement break down? Technically, it never did. However I will give you two reasons as to why it ended up being something invisible to most people, especially the English speaking world. 1)Wars. India was surrounded by water and protected by cold mountains. As such, the land was away from things like outer influence of wars. The culture instead focused completely on science and religion. This means a real treat for day to day living but it also means that it's military was weak. Be it the middle east with it's technology or the British with theirs,Indians were always behind the times in terms of power. And so, when the invaders came they didn't really have a way to repel them. The fact that a majority of this religious philosophy was by mouth didn't help either. Lots of religious texts were burnt up.There are still ofc, just a few left, that show this unique connection of religion and science but not enough to spread the teschings.Besides, by the times peeps realized this, things had internally and externally changed. Nazi symbol using swastika, and caste system being misrepresented(not a system to discriminate people by birth, but to 'differentiate' them based on practical jobs.Manusmriti is the only text that discriminated based on caste and it's just a theory given by a king, not the basics)ensured that at least half the world will stay away from researching it. The other half was the plundered part and not the plunderers and so lacked education to research it. Even now, only about 10% of India could be called even literate. Without knowledge, no matter how good the system, will end up bad. There is a lot of things that changed with Hindus during Muslim and Christian rule. They needed to fight for their freedom but their religion didn't need any fighting so they amended it. They needed to seek justice on those people of God that caused jallianwala bagh massacre or Bengal famines but their religion said that everything was correct and every God is great so they changed it.To seek freedom in the materialistic world, they needed to make their teachings...materialistic. 2)Because it was perfect.Ask any atheist why they don't like religion. The general answer would be because it is irrational. And that is, what modern religion is. But think about a situation in which, religion is rational. There isn't any one god.Heck people make gods every day for their own peace of mind.(There are millions of gods in Hinduism afterall) Only godly thing they can think of is the universe, which is not superior, neither inferior, it just is. It's like a world straight out of fantasy. Why would someone need to be atheist in a world like this? Why do you need to recheck of the fully functioning calculator calculated correctly? And hence, most people ended up adopting the God route.Sure, those who didn't adopt it could still do so and no one will scorn them for that but why do they need to? Think about it like this. Why would science oppose Christian flat earth if Christians went, "Oh Ok.Let me amend the bible." You may get what I am going to say now. But yeah,in a perfect system, question asking people reduced by quite a lot. And when the invaders came, the lack of these people hit really hard. As I said in previous point, things were done to fight off the outer ideologies and there weren't a lot of people to oppose that change. Who knows? If there were enough of religious non believers, the outer world itself would have changed rather than indians. We did manage to squeeze out a Gandhi less than a century ago but he was killed by a hindu who grew up on those twisted ideologies. It can be seen as sad tbh.But I am a hindu nastika.I believe in reincarnation. Not that of life but just...everything.That includes ideas. Yeah, humans might all die out but who knows, the cockroaches might be able to reach a better, bigger version of this perfect relationship. Development will always happen and as I don't believe that humans need to be the torch for it(as we are all from brahman),I am fine with things getting messed up with us humans. My end goal, is just moksha. And Mikayla requires one to have all the experiences and reach a value of zero, not 100%.As a result, I am fine with humans ducking up everything. If humans end up as the most evil, it would still be something achieved as that only means, better things will come. Cause as I said the endgoal of existence(not just human) is to reach a zero. With no meter showing us where on the scale we are at the moment, there will indefinitely be both negatives and positives. If humans end their existence at the negative side of the scale. That just means that positives will be more likely from then on.
