More tips: If you see brown worms wiggling in the ground, you can get clay by using ur hoe... you can also get new spring crops by using the hoe on green wiggling grass. 2. You can sell swords and bug meat in the adventurers' guild. 3. The bug meat can be used to make bait for your fishing rod. 4. To beat Abigail in the egg hunt, you need 9-10 eggs

Enjoying your playthrough! Don't worry about the dog, pets can't die in Stardew. Also dont stress about getting things done on time, everything in Stardew is cyclical, so if you miss an event or a quest or a birthday, it'll come back next year. Use the heart tab on your inventory menu to get information about the other characters, and use the map to see where people live. You can also check the quest details in your journal to get more info about Robin's ax. Have fun and keep exploring!

My tip is to talk more with the villagers to raise their heart levels! Once you reach certain hearts with a villager, it'll unlock a special cutscene where you get to know more about them, it really adds to the richness and experience of the game imo! You can even start dating certain villagers after reaching 9 hearts with them 😄

On Sunday and Friday a wagon comes down in the woods past the bottom of your farm an closes at 8pm. It can sell rare things or some things you can use at the community center.

Perhaps someone else already said, but you must sleep for the progress to save! Saving occurs every night. So always stop playing right after starting a new day, so you don't have to re-do anything :)

And a tip is to keep a few of EVERYTHING you find/forage/grow/fish etc. Makes it easier to complete the Community Centre quests and you can also have "everything" saved for when someone asks for something on the community help wanted board outside of Pierre's store :D

Collect as many salmonberries as you can during the week they're on the bushes, they're great for energy/health when you go to the mines!

Iron is found much deeper in the mines, so bring food, check the day's fortune on the TV and go to the mines on a lucky day to get five levels down

And if you ever forget who someone is, you can check in the relationships tab of the menu! There's a little picture of them next to their name, and on the map you will see labels for where everyone lives.

General tip to gather resources as efficiently as possible is to always use all your energy for something! If you still have energy and it's before midnight, use up your energy on chopping trees and removing rocks from your farm. You'll need LOTS of natural resources eventually so might as well use all your energy. But if you go to bed after midnight, you won't regain all your energy when you sleep, so go to bed at 12 :)

For fishing, try holding the button instead of tapping quickly when then fish is keeping still. You can also hold the button just before it hits the bottom to keep the green bar from bouncing when it hits the bottom. I was absolutely terrible at fishing in stardew at first until I tried this. I avoided fishing for a long time. I didn't even know about the training rod at thd time either lol

Make sure to check the TV every day! They can give tips and recipes for free. And it will show you the day’s luck. Good luck days are best for mining. You can get better weapons in the mines, or from treasure chests while fishing. Also for managing inventory, you won’t need most things besides one or 2 tools, and some energy food. You could also put a chest in the mines, or by fishing spots so you can stay there longer without getting full!

defs watch every channel on the tv every morning. check the traveling cart (near the wizard’s tower) on Fridays & Sundays. try to keep a few of each thing you find because you often need it for at least one craft or gift for someone’s bday. the stardew wiki has sooo much info & is fun to have pulled up while you play ~

The sewer scene was because you need to donate 60 items to the museum to unlock the sewer and after the 1st winter you can unlock krobus. You need krobus to help the wizard.
