Dear Kelly. Brilliant video! On my travels to Western Europe, I was informed that there also exists a series of books classified as encyclopaedia of the dead. Kindly share any light in this if possible. Regards. Jason

Thanks! As far as we know, there aren't any ancient Egyptian 'Encyclopedia of the Dead', books just 'The Book of the Dead'.

What was the relationship between the 'Book of the dead' and the 'Book of traversing eternity' and 'Book of breathing'? Were these just customisations of the 'Book of the dead' or something different altogether?

I'll tell you what I think I'm very thankful for the gospel Of Jesus Christ..... No spells needed.... No fear of dying again in the afterlife.... No money needed to cast better spells.... Yes I'm thankful for the gospel the real good news that a person can be saved by faith and not by works or casting spells....

What I got out of this is that you must know oneself, your good and bad. You must know how to react or not act to certain thoughts you create or things people inflict on you. I think it follows similar principles to the bible :) I believe in one god and that he brought his son to teach us all the way of god. That same son who died for our sins :)
@cejann39262 жыл бұрын
Read the 42 Negative Confessions and learn that these book(s) are at the foundation of your beliefs. If you believe in the story of St. Peter and the Pearly Gates, you believe in the Book of the Dead. Your beliefs have a source and this is one of them

Just think, if your heart is lighter than a feather, and you avoid having your heart eaten, that's only the BEGINNING of your journey/trials.🙄🤣. Dead Egyptians must have had just a many, or more, problems and worries, than they did while still alive. Lol
@EddahMwihaki-hv1ei Жыл бұрын
Yes book of dead but the book of dead the heart ❤️ can not be heavier or lighter but must balance for the dead or deceased to journey after life like hunefer who show wearing white show lived a good live on earth and passed devourer a and ushering by Osiris to enter in in heaven

Great video, thank you. In answer to your question, sadly, I suspect there is no afterlife. We are born, we live and then we die. The scribes seemed to have a nice racket going on but a fascinating video nonetheless.
@EddahMwihaki-gq2zk9 ай бұрын
Yes Egyptian book of dead negative confession was stolen by so called Christianity and have been altered by other scholars ,yes ancient Egyptian were center in spiritual of maat feathers, yes you go through judgment of heart weigh against feathers of maat .
