My older brother came back with this record from the local record shop back in 82, no idea why he bought it because he was a new romantic but I played this record to death, I was only about 10 years old. I used to go around asking strangers if they had 10p lol.

Seriously its a fucking great piece of 80s punk/Oi . Short fast, simple raw as fuck and gritty = essence of streetpunk then and now yeah?

In the early and mid eighties, if you thought yourself a bit punk or alternative and went to the King's Road to buy clothes or records, one of the resident punks would, without fail, approach you and ask this question. I figured out after a while that "Gosh no, terribly sorry" was not the right answer.

10 pence. Subunit of a British pound. Similar to 10 cents in the United States.

in Sydney it was the skinheads asking for 20 cents .. punk stayed underground until the skins left
@MattScorpion6 ай бұрын
I recently found this badass group and started to really like their sound. Although it sounds very punk, it seems that their main influences included a lot of skin bands. This EP cover is very explicit about this too.
