It seems almost inevitable now that with Fortnite adding Content Creators or rather "Icons" to the game, there's always going to be some kind of Drama regarding their choice. Whether it's some kind of "It should've been [Other Creator] instead! Not [The one who's actually getting one]! They totally deserve it way more than this guy!" or "But they don't even PLAY Fortnite!" or "I don't even know the guy! How come THEY get a skin when he's a total unknown to me!" I'd like to hope most people can see the flaws in all of these arguments, but I suppose not. 1:42 I'm starting to think people who say stuff like this without Googling to check are more so doing this out of 'anger' or to simply just complain. They don't WANT to know who this guy is. As far as they're concerned, he's a random person that is TOTALLY undeserving of being in Fortnite and *this is why Fortnite is so trash now! They're just putting anyone in there these days with no respect to their actual creators!* In other words: They're just your average twitter user and want to be mad. 3:40 As I pointed out earlier, this is the "Icon Series", not the "Content Creator Series". Meaning that it really doesn't matter whether or not they play Fortnite a ton or even at all. I bet Ariana Grande hasn't even PLAYED a match of Fortnite and yet she has an entire concert in the game! What I mean is that being in Fortnite's Icon Series is more about if you're famous than your relevance in the game. It's how we get Khaby Lame or MrBeast. Famous people who aren't exactly known for their Fortnite content. So I guess just be happy ElRubius atleast PLAYED Fortnite? Because I think they wanted him more so for his 40+ million subscribers... 5:40 This is also something I think People tend to forget. *They don't know how Epic Games works.* This applies to a lot of things relating to Fortnite, but for now let's just keep it to Creator Collaborations. Epic probably work behind the scenes for a LONG time with companies and people before they actually make it into the game. If I remember correctly, Lachlan said his Skin took a whole year to make? (I don't know, it's been a long time since I watched many of the big creators) So if we say the minimum time is a year, and we KNOW Epic usually makes more icon series skins than that per year, then it's safe to say they do multiple at once. And since as I mentioned they don't work with JUST Fortnite Content Creators, that could mean more than just TypicalGamer... *Imagine MatPat in Fortnite...* 6:45 I suppose one could make the argument that since the majority of Fortnite players are English-speaking, that they should focus on catering to THAT audience and stick to people THEY know since that'll also mean more people who would want to buy the Icon Skin. Though of course, I can't say for certain if it really is true that most Fortnite players are English-Speaking... particularly when playing Fills in servers like Asia or Middle East typically give you teammates that DON'T speak English... *TL;DR* Maybe it's just because I'm long since used to Fortnite collaborating with Franchises and People I personally don't really care about, but I think People are just blowing stuff out of the water for no reason... *Like Always...*

es raro como algunos estado unidenses no conocen casi nada a los hispano hablantes😢 aunque seamos del mismo continente xd y si nos conocen solo suele ser de modo superficial (hay varias anécdotas de como suelen decir que todos los latinoamericanos venimos de mexico y/o angertina🤡 ) y aunque la mayoría de los estado unidenses no son así es raro ver que los estado unidenses que no saben de nuestra existencia es algo grande y eso suele preocupar. Con la skin del rubius se vio como la mayoria ni lo conocían y solo por no conocerlo lo desprestigiaron pensando que era un don nadie y como muchos lo criticaban de tener una skin de idolo solo por no dedicarse 100% a fortnite Fuera de eso me gusto mucho el video eres muy bueno a la hora de hablar sigue adelante porque tienes talento❤
