All you need is the Grenade launcher with PHD and the Aether Blade. GL to knock zombies down and the Aether will one shot all regular zombies

I fully intended to run elder solo ignoring escort because all I really wanted was golden armor. Ended up recruiting 2 randos and blitzed the first 2 and still ignored escort lol. Basically 2 sets of decoys and tesla storm should have you set for extractors. Wunderwaffle should make outlast a breeze as well, otherwise like 2 sentry guns and self revives should be fine if solo.

@Senpai_ix my issue at the moment is I gotta get use to roaming Z3 solo so the DÆ becomes easier to manage. It's not always bout killing everything and I forget that. Plus, I tend to run weapons that aren't optimal, aside from the one Mega Abomination killer I found.

Dark aether has more zombies and bosses but they are the same strength as tier 3 zombies so yeah that makes it more difficult plus the time thing

I actually made all 3 Missions solo only. First attempt failed and than all 3 missions in a row solo. But the tank mission I was super equipped... Purple throwing balls (lol) 10x golden plates, dog and either blade... Still needed the either blade schematic 😢

The absolute BEST way to grind for the VR-11 is by completing Infected Strongholds. My buddy and I cleared every T2 and T3, it took us about 20 minutes, then they respawned and we did them all again. We ended up getting 2 VR-11 weapon cases, both from T2 lol. I went in solo, 3 strongholds in and I find another. I suggest going into a game and ONLY do Infected Strongholds if you're hoping to get one. Hopefully this helps.

Finding randoms that actually get out there and complete contracts is impossible. I’m not the best player, but im solid in zone two, and complete a few contracts in tier 3 zone. The loot I’ve been getting in TERRIBLE LOL!!!

Read in guides that these were “Tier 5” zombies. But you mentioned they’re just Tier 3. And it seems that way with the damage you do to them. Is there a reason why people are assuming they’re Tier 5? Is there any difficulty buff to them?

From all my experience, they are just tier 3 zombies in a smaller map with increased numbers of them. But nothing to increase their personal difficulty. Very frustrating to have that incorrect verbage... Makes it seem harder than it really is!

I have 2 questions about elder dark either: 1.- If you fail the contracts you lose your chance of getting classified schematics? (I read something like this on a website or please correct me if I understood this wrong) 2.- I got the 3 classified schematics today like nothing, does this mean you always get a classified schematic per contract completed? you keep saying that the escort is impossible but then you wasted all your Kashmir’s on the easiest contract. You need about 9 Kashmir’s and you can do the escort as long as you kill the abomination before you start it and then save 2 Kashmir’s for each spot where the escort stops

Exactly. No matter what contact you do first, you'll get the dog bone schematic. Then you'll get the Golden Armor. Then you'll get the Aether Blade. In that order.

are you certain the elder zombies are just as strong as T3? I've been using the lockwood a lot lately and in elder sigil it feels weaker for sure but could just be placebo

I haven't done any hand testing yet. But the zombies, feel, like they die just as easily. There are more of them, they seem to be more condensed. But again, no hard testing. But, if they are stronger, it's not at drastic as any other threat level

They're definitely stronger, the Lockwood goes from 1 hit in tier3 to 2 hit in the elder dark aether. People don't notice because they use the Tyr akimbo that 1 taps everything.

I just released a vid on my first time trying it solo (and 2nd time ever being in the Dark Aether). It's honestly not all that bad! I wasn't able to do all 3 contracts, but got very close! I definitely could've played it better, and I learned, so next solo run will be easy :)

I cant find a schematic ro save my life and ive done tons of tier 1 and plaemty of tier 2. Question....if youre playing in a group, do schematics drop for each player? Or is it first come, first serve?

Pretty sure if a schematic drops in tier 1 and 2 and even possibly tier 3 also when in a group that everyone in the group gets the schematic. I could be wrong but any time i get a schematic that i dont need while in a group i would drop it for other players but ive had group members then drop the same schematic to show that they also got it from the reward rift. I do know that the reward rifts from the red worm are random for each player tho. I seen a video on that earlier. I had a run last week where i got 3 ray gun schematics in 1 game and yet i cant get the level 2 crystal schematic to drop at all. Its just RNG for them to drop

Huge misconception! They're just tier 3 level of zombies. I hate the "tier 4" and "tier 5" verbage. Very misleading. As you saw in the video, I was easily able to take out those enemies as if I was in tier 3.

I did the DA with only purple rarity, I have never gotten a legendary aether tool even after 100's of tier 3 contracts. I got a eldir sigil after 2 contracts and then exfilled only for it to disappear. Can you not exfill with an elder sigil?

The scorcher makes elder alot better. The problem solo is that you really want scorcher and vr11 and you can't run very fast with them.

I’m getting convinced that the item rewards for the elder aether are just terrible, I’ve gotten aether blade cases and golden plates more often in the regular aether. Probably since it gives you a specific schematic per contracts done, taking a slot in the loot pool

That’s if it actually works and doesn’t lag ,been to tier 5 3 times today , and it’s lagged every time I start up the acv contract . The game is a laggy joke .if u equip stuff like flawless and dig bone etc , the game doesn’t even load you comes up connection lost , you didn’t even get in the game and you lost everything plates self res and you gotta wait 2 days before you can craft again, all because actv can’t make proper servers, it’s a joke
