Yeah but in a book, I read that the princess became queen even though she wasn't married and the her husband became Prince consort BTW this is from the crown by Keira Cass from her selection series

I guess she is still a princess but can rule her kingdom like a queen. There must be additional protocols and requirements to be followed before she gets the title of Queen other than being married to a consort. The court council even planned to have her teleported back to her adoptive parents ' world for the safety of herself and the crown. I guess, the court council, takes over the day to day management of the kingdom of Manjipoor and as the ruler she may have to come visit the court and people once in a while to sign papers and decrees😎
