Wow!!! So great to see that elevator working again! I actually used to film there back in 2020 by the time when I started my channel. Hopefully this elevator won't break down again. Also, I do like the new door sensor to it.

The elmwood elevator needs repairs on the following - Indicator (wonder if someone punched it or the led/lcd panel is faulty) - The constant shaking of the elevator - the door shaking too - The shaft noises (quite minor) And there was a weird problem with the doors re opening but I think that’s ok

I bet the indicator is giving off some infrared light. Cameras can pick that up sometimes. I don't know why it would do that though

I visited that elevator in June 2022 and the door on the 5th floor was broken. I wonder if that had anything to do with its time out of service.

I used to visit that elevator in August 2020 and to me that elevator door on the top floor was in shape. But the reason why it was out of service was because of thunderstorms and that was probably the reason was.

@@camelevators7762 Snow and rainstorms cause electric gates/garage doors to rust, which result in loud squeaks and poor movement. Since this elevator is located outside, behaviors like these are happening to this elevator.

@@ishanjani9885 we don’t know who exactly did it. But it was definitely not a mechanical worker. According to Andrew in a past stream, it looked like some random person wedged it out.

@@DylanLTindall Probably a homeless person. I actually caught somebody vandalizing the elevator a couple years ago and called the police. The police got the person out of the elevator.

Speaking of that, I saw in your older videos that there was vandalism on the Market Parking Garage elevator and you said at the end of the video that you were going to call the police on them. Why wasn't this elevator working for a while? Also I'm glad that they got it running again, but the shaking in the elevator shaft is very unsafe in my opinion I really feel like TK needs to come in and do a lot of work on this especially since it's the floor indicator isn't working properly and the doors are glitching.

There was a severe weather damage which damaged the door sensor to it. Also, what I'm thinking the shakiness is that it's probably a death trap the reason why it's doing that. But, the indicator looks like it's almost burnt out and I don't think the doors were glitching. But, in this case that elevator is finally working again after a while.

That elevator was installed since 1985 and it got modernized in 2015. So, some parts of the elevator is still over 30 years old. And also, I'm not exactly sure what happened to it either but I looked it up on the news and it said that it had a damaged door sensor. So, you can clearly see that the door sensors have been replaced. But, hopefully that elevator will stay running again for a long time.

Just like all the ones at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis; those were modded at the same time and are getting to be in bad shape too. Some of their LCD indicators are burned out; they’re getting keycarded. The Westinghouses at the Atlanta Hilton run kind of rough too and the smart keyed Otis ones at the Westin Peachtree Plaza are just starting to run rough for 72 floors; all those are quite fast. The Sundial ones there are slower and run like the others. The Hyatt Regency ones are all keycarded but a bit slower than the others; there are 3 different towers at that hotel. The only scenic ones there are in the Atrium Tower (one of which accesses the Polaris restaurant).
