The Elusive Ice Cream in Breath of the Wild [No Mods] | Inventory Slot Transfer

I should try milk-flavored ice cream. Steps to getting Ice Cream down below. THIS ASSUMES YOU HAVE BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF IST. if I have any errors, please feel free to correct me! 1. Make sure to have an elixir on the first slot of your cooked food inventory. It doesn't matter what kind, it just must be an elixir. 2. Start cooking basic simmered fruit until it fills up your entire inventory. The recipe is just one apple. 3. Count how many Key Items you have + your 60 filled cooked food slots. Bear in mind that Champion Abilities, Korok Seeds, and Spirit Orbs duplicate, so if you have those in your inventory, count twice. For me, I had the Paraglider, Sheikah Slate, Travel Medallion, and Revali's Gale, so I had to count 5 + 60 to account for the champion ability. 4. Perform IST and glitch the number of inventory slots needed to cover the Key Items and Food Inventory. - I had to do 65 glitched inventory slots (or offsets for short). You can go over the required number as long as the offset is not less than your 60 food items + the number of Key Items. 5. Trigger an autosave 6. Eat a simmered fruit from any slot - If you want your own flavored ice cream, just cook food with the ingredients you want and eat that instead. 7. Reload the autosave 8. Congratulations! You now have Ice Cream! How to transfer the ice cream to your main save for cosmetic purposes (Make sure not to sort your food items yet if you want to have an easier time) 1. Once you've obtained the ice cream, go get an autosave again 2. Close the game to get rid of the active glitch 3. Perform IST again and create an offset that covers your Key Items + the 60th food item slot (which is where your ice cream is). - For me, I have 5 Key Items to account for + my 60th food item slot, so I only did an offset 6 times. 4. Load the hard/main save. - This can also be transferred between mode changes so you can actually do this on both your Normal and Master Mode files. 5. Get an autosave 6. Close the game to clear the glitch 7. Load the newest autosave 8. If you're satisfied with having ice cream on your inventory, you are now safe to do a hard save.

:O does every item in your food inventory have to be the same (except the first one)? or do you just need to fill your inventory?

Nice vid, but I have one huge problem. How do you get your key items not to dupe. I run into two problems: 1. If I do the tutorial exactly like the description says I end up with duped key items that I would have to bring along with me if I wanted to get the ice cream back onto my main save, because the offset generation needs to get through the key items before it goes to the food. 2. If I instead eat all of the food that isn’t the ice cream lowering my M count, and exiting the game on an auto save, it gets rid of the ice cream because there is no way to store it outside of your inventory, removing it. I might just be dumb but I would appreciate some help

It's why it's recommended to do IST that has no duplicable items to avoid this problem. I'm not entirely sure what to do with this problem since I only have a save file that has no such key items (the Revali's Gale I have is from a previous Memory Storage file I did and apparently does not count since I never completed the Vah Medoh quest in this file in the first place) The last few steps is to just eat one food, not all of the food at all. It's basically corrupting one of your items so I don't think it's lowering your M count per se? I'm not entirely sure about these though, I only followed a text writeup for this.
