way late but i think cold war actually made insta-kills useful even if you arent doing high round games. in previous zombies games you get points for each bullet hit, making insta-kills only desireable if you are trying to make rounds go fast, or if you have a double points and go for knife kills. now since cold war only gives you points for zombie kills, insta-kills are great for quickly building points unless you are trying to grind for camos/challenges that insta-kill would negatively impact
