I love it when the game creates a counter to an effect (anti-warping) and then adds an exception to that counter that's way stronger than anything before it (Emblem Celica). It makes playing the game extra fun.

@@GreyPikmin334 pass was always a counter. The problem was its in the B slot, so the Opportunity cost was high. Celica, has it in her special, leaving her B slot open. Funny note: unrefined Fujin Yumi has pass 2 built in, Takumi just isnt strong enough in the current meta

And then they just make a "neutralizes effects and status that prevent..." To the counter of the anticounter. And story repeats itself by making those effects more readily available and making another effect that does the same thing in more steps.

@@traskth Personally, I don't think Pass should be a counter to anti-warping but that's neither here nor there. That was at least kind of balanced by the huge opportunity cost that came with running Pass over another B-skill, at least until we get Pass 4 or something. It's just that Emblem Celica does not have this same opportunity cost, and thus not any real counter play besides staying out of her range or digging around for a unit who can actually survive her. Hardy Bearing would probably help to shut off her desperation, and since she's so frail it would only take one counterattack to knock her out.

@@markicat2674 Yeah but at least there's a clear counter to her Emblem Effect, as for Celica we'll just have to deal with the usual warping shenanigans and pray that the AI uses her poorly so you can easily take her out. (Unless you're on SD in which case I wish your sanity good luck)

Someone like YEmmeryn could do amazing use of the emblem effect. Other notable mention is Bridal Lapis. Been testing her in this season with the 2 Gullveigs and its a never ending player phase without having to use WoM.

I'm going to try using it on a number of units to see how it does. The first one will be Young Emmeryn so she can warp in and become a beacon for the entire team without needing as much movement setup as before. This is also pretty funny with Duo Nina since she is still the only unit in the game with Canto Recall and can jump in and out of anything she does. Second, I'll be putting it on Eitri. She's great at dealing damage and running away, but I have been having moments where she could do a lot of good if she just had a little extra range to work with. This would help fix that right up. Doing what I can to keep her relevant with how much she's starting to struggle against newer units and skills.

I’ll have to brainstorm who this will work best for. Warping is great but I don’t have a whole lot of sturdy candidates who I could see utilizing it very well unless I have the right team set up.

The nice thing about engaging is you can freely switch around who you give it to. You can save a skill set with an emblem engaged and you can lock teams to keep it on units. So slap it on anybody that could remotely benefit from it

Damn ninja zelgius can be a save unit and also nyoom over to clear up the opponents if necessary. Once hes gone though he's not coming back unless he goes 1 space at a time. Also he's not aged the best because of no dr piercing but that can be provided by camilla or the puppet guy. I'll probably be putting this on whoever doesnt want the other emblems, but in particular nergal for sure, and probably Ike too. Since young chrobin is a counter, but only after being repositioned, ike warping right up to them will make the AI just attack straight up and then Ike won't die. Throw in breath of life 4 to counter lyon and igrene and I don't know what else could kill him. I don't have BoL 4 fodder yet, but if I also get caedas while trying for celica shed be good to pass it on as well as laguz friend.
