Id say probably checking out me history? I think because they both have like a child like tone, in the emigree, in the starting line ‘there once was a country’ it sort of has a fairytale way of being told, then you’ve got like the the nursery rhyme parts of checking out me history. Id probably go with this. Theres also oppression from higher ups id say, with ‘dem’ and the European education system from checking out me history and the conflict with the war and the people from where the speaker is in the emigree
