Regarding Mayfield tornado - I have a friend in that area- she says they need all sorts of things like chainsaws, generators, batteries, cots, pet food and supplies... and of course financial donations. I'm trying to get info on where all of that is being accepted. Will update!

My biggest gratitude of 2021 is finishing off the year with a newborn (due Dec 27) after 2020 was a year of 3 pregnancy losses for my husband and I. We feel so incredibly blessed! So thankful that 2021 brought so much more hope and joy.

Right now I am grateful for my family. My Dad who is a heart transplant patient was just dx’d with Adenocarcinoma of the Pancreas. My positive is it’s just on the tip of the head of the pancreas, and it’s a very slow growing type of CA. He is my rock and my best friend. My Mom has been 5 yrs lung cancer free. That’s my gratitude! The peoples lives that my parents have touched here in Southeastern KY is vast! My Mom has 18+ yrs as a 911 Dispatcher. My Dad coached a boys little league and my softball team from the time I was 5 yrs old, til I was a freshman. He’s also been a school bus driver since retiring from the coal mines! The kids who ride his bus love him so much. When he told his kids he was sick they said we will pray for you and you will get better! ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Santa came early!! I was so excited when I got this notification but saved it to watch while I'm doing my makeup. What I'm grateful for today: this rainy, Saturday morning to take my time getting ready & watch this video. My family watching a movie in the living room (and giving mommy some me time). Being in this season- I love the cold & Christmas time! There is nothing cozier then lighting your candles, dimming the lights, and seeing your tree sparkling in the corner!

I do have 3 things I'm most grateful for: The biggest one is: being able to stand and walk after 2 back surgeries 3 days apart 1 year ago back in December; The 2nd biggest is: living to work 40 years on the same job and being retired 5 years in good health (so many only lived 6 to 8 months after retirement); and The 3rd biggest is: having had people in my life who loved and showed me what love is because without them, I would have believed there was only hurt, hate, and selfishness (which is all I'm surrounded by right now and since these loving people have transitioned). But I'm blessed with the gift of love they gave me to give me strength. I pray you all know love, good health, and receive your blessings by not blocking them with hate and selfishness. Always love the Emily Awards! I know if it gets the Emily seal of approval, it must be amazing and worthy of trying. Bare Minerals Bisque was my jam for many years. In fact, many years ago before they had such a wide range of colors in their mineral foundation, I used to use Bisque as my foundation. And it looked great!!

I tried to find the Becca under eye concealer too late and couldn’t find it so I am happy to hear this. I really want to try it. I have very dark under eyes and nothing seems to work well enough. Plus I have really enjoyed powder foundation this year. It just is so easy for me so also looking forward to using Laura Geller powder foundation. I have dark spots to cover. I have loved Laura Geller’s baked and brighten powder foundation for many years now. I have purchased over and over. Haven’t worn it much since Covid, but when I do wear makeup, that’s what I’m wearing. I am very fair and the porcelain shade in her line is light enough for me with the right undertone for me. Before that I wore bare minerals powder foundation for years.
