They always use the most ridicule reasons to justify the mistreatment the FL suffers at hand of ML. If the plost twist is that he was always in love with her, how these man can stand still and see them being hurt, one thing is to be yelled at, another is to be phisically abused. I think he was forced to treat her that way just to keep her alive. They tried to kill her when she first arrived. They fell in love when they didn’t know who the other was and he cannot show it. I don’t think he has a lot of power.
