I liked how soft-spoken Sidious was in the German Dub. It makes people believe the Emperor is a good person when he is not. The English dub also works as Sidious is both pissed and tempered. He hated having to do the improvisation.

Great video! Unfortunately, the Brazilian voice actor for the Emperor passed away before the premiere of Season 3. Reinaldo Pimenta was the replacement for Pádua Moreira, who became famous as the best voice of Palpatine and also of Darth Vader in Brazil. Pádua had stepped away from dubbing due to the pandemic, but returned to dubbing and Emperor Palpatine/Darth Sidious is currently without a voice due to Reinaldo's death.

I agree though it's not the original voice actor of Palpatine. Both in the old and the new trilogy he was dubbed by Ryszard Nawrocki (he also dubbed Rabbit from Winnie the Pooh in almost all Pooh movies) but he died in 2011, here the actor is Grzegorz Wons, he's already done Palpatine in animated series before so he's doing quite well but for me he lacks something in his voice, I can't say what

Unfortunately the Brazilian voice actor for Palpatine who is Reinaldo Pimenta, this was one of his last works in dubbing Palpatine, unfortunately he passed away before the 3rd season premiered, but thankfully he had recorded the voices for the 3rd before, the same thing happened with the Brazilian voice actress from the Ahsoka that the last Brazilian dubbing work was the last season of The clone wars which also passed away in 2021, many of the classic Brazilian Star Wars voice actors have already passed away,

I see you ordered them almost perfectly by linguistic groups, starting with related groups such as germanic, then scandinavian, then slavic, then Greek, french, turkish romanian hungarian (not related but languages that DID coexist together in some form, the romances and finally sinitic, i can appreciate a fellow connaiseur of linguistics, and appreciate the time to group them by a specific order, thanks for all the hard work!

Thank you so much for this video. I just found it on surprise, but I love it because I have a love for languages and I love Star Wars and The Galactic Senate and the Shock Troopers are so cool. But just my opinion, I hope you can make more such videos from different scenes with all these languages. It is so cool to even hear the Nordic Scandinavian languages as well as Eastern European languages! Btw: Russian is a major language that is missing. Isn't it avaiable? As well as Standard Arabic. There is no better way to listen to languages than this

Disney+ is What I Used for These Videos And They Pretty Much Ever Include Russian And Ukrainian Dubs So, Instead I Normally Use The Website "Rezka.ag" To Find Those Dubs. However For This Show There Was Two Russian Dubs, One Supposedly By The Company HDrezka Studios And Another Supposedly By The Company Conder Films Studio. But I Couldn't Find Any Information Any Where Else That Suggests That These Dubs Even Exists Or Any information On Them. I Didn't Include Them Because I Don't Feel Comfortable Including Dubs That I Can't Fully Prove Are Not Fandubs Or Unofficial Dubs. And as For Arabic, I Couldn't Find It Anywhere as It Didn't Show Up On Disney+.

Confused Here. On Disney+ There's 3 Chinese Dubs. Chinese (中文), Chinese (普通话) And Chinese (粵語). According To Most Sources I Could Find, Chinese (中文) Was Simplified Chinese, Chinese (普通话) Was Mandarin Chinese And Chinese (粵語) Was Cantonese. Is It Wrong? And If So, What's "Chinese (中文)" Actually Then?

In Romanian sounds really weird compared to the original. For Mas Ameda and Rampart the voice acting is of poor quality and Palpatine sounds like one of nihilistic characters from romanian movies and also like another boring slow speechs from our politicians while just being a little more sinister.

@@InDifferentLanguages-m7e The unofficial studios in Russia have pretty much become official since they often include the same actors that voiced in the official dubs of the movies. Red Head Sound and Flarrow Films are 2 major studios in Russia that very often invite official voice actors to participate and their versions are often even played in cinemas.
