I have one question..... was the pit where the bodies were burned on Oct 19th left open to the elements for over a week before being recovered by the US army? Why has no one suggested that scavanging animals took parts of the bodies and broke bones open for the marrow? In particular, dogs in Grenada are usually free to roam as they please. The maggots being present when the body parts were examined would suggest they were open to the elements. This seems like a very likely explanation that is not being addressed.
