This is the trailer that Disney/Fox should have used instead of the "Candyman" looking offical one they churned out with little to no effort. Fantastic job editing this one!!

I think this trailer is light years better and more true to the spirit of the film than the original Disney/Fox trailer. Congratulations, job well done --- this is the trailer to show a friend or a family member if you want them to check the film out. That being said, the people at Disney/Fox knew exactly what they were doing when they put the original trailer together --- they knew that the majority of audience members interested in horror these days would want to see something familiar something akin the vapid horror franchises like Halloween, Friday the 13th or Nightmare on Elm Street or Candyman --- so they marketed the film with that in mind. Do you blame them? If making money is you main priority, then you are going to sell this film as familiarly to other money making franchises as possible --- they are not interested in filmic integrity or accuracy of plot --- that is not what they are trying to communicate via a trailer. And that is of course unfortunate for the viewers out there demanding something more from a horror film who will see that trailer and dismiss it as another piece of mainstream crap. The Empty Man is far from that --- it is certainly demanding and disturbing and asks its viewers to think outside of the box. Something all too uncommon these days.

That is a darn good job. A movie house w/ a huge budget didn't do a fraction as good a job at promoting their own movie. People would expect to see the great movie that this is, based on this.

Great job! This is a much better trailer than the official ones. The only piece of constructive criticism i have is that the first piece of music is a tad too loud as it almost drowns out some of the dialogue.
