Now I see how the little sci-fi tidbit at the beginning plays in! This guy is certainly suspicously plain. It sucks that research science doesn't pay better. Many of the people I've met who work specifically in research and education(like tours and stuff, not schools) either live with a relative or married someone who can actually pay the bills. Still, I'm stubborn and curious enough to consider it for a future career.
