I’ve been playing NHL 21 through the 10 hour EA play trial and be a pro had so many bugs. One time it told me to out score Kole Lind because I guess he was in the running for Calder and I did I got 2 goals 1 assist he only had 1 goal but it docked me stuff because outscoring him apparently was suppose to mean “ get the first star”. And I was second Another bug was literally just the wrong guy sat down. My guy is white with longer hair and after a game this bald black guy sat down in the dressing room and I was so confused. It fixed itself after the next game I played but it was just really funny. Another time Brent Burns sat down in my dressing room. Some of the challenges are also very vague it’ll say “ put on some pressure”. But like what do you want me to do specifically does that mean get some good shots on net, keep them in their own zone or does it want me to make some big hits. Most of the time it’s gonna day “ get 5 takeaways”. “Score a goal” “get the first star next game”. But sometimes it says some stupid shit and expects you to understand what it means. Most of the time you should pick the star option for the in game coach challenges because it specifically says stuff like “ score the next goal” and not just “ keep up the pressure” Also teammate challenges are so weird like no one is gonna go up to their friend and say shit like “hey you’re playing a bit soft next game why don’t you get 2 big hits and score one goal”. Also you only ever get one teammate to interact with per team it looks like, on frolunda Lucas Raymond kept talking to me and on the kings Lizzotte or something keeps talking. Also Johnny was kinda right in his breakdown of the trailer I’ve been getting coach challenges almost every game, once I even had 2 coach challenges in a game. They are cool but it kinda takes you out of the flow of the game when it happened so often especially when you only play the third period because it almost always happens in a game and if you only play the third period of games it happens more often in terms of time you spend in a game and it gets stale faster. Haven’t tried out the GM mode yet but it sucks that created players still don’t have faces, but what they did do is change the colour from black to a lighter shade of grey for their blank face.

soooo for the next franchise mode, id like to see you take on the Edmonton Oilers. Everyone's always talking about how they don't sim well so lets see if GM Superbman can fix them. Plus the Edmonton Oilers GM mode on the old channel only lasted like 3 seasons until the file got corrupted.

I turn deflection reactions down to zero. In the real nhl the only saved deflections are the ones that happen to hit the goalie. In this game the goalie can always get it.

This has probably been the best GM mode Johnny has ever done. And I've been watching his GM Modes for years. I even went back and seen some old series of it. I haven't watched everyone but I watched alot of them. This has been the best one he's done yet. Awesome GM mode, very successful. Seemed like this one went by way too fast and now we are here at NHL 21.

Hey Johnny, If you put French fries or Zod into Europe for be a pro please note that, I actually had the tournament skip rounds on me, and I reverted to an old save and used the calendar to get to the next game instead of the menu.. and I am able to play the remaining rounds of the tournament. I believe this is only in the euro league, if you go CHL you may not have this issue. Good luck!- Stix
