I've been curious for a while about what's changed since I stopped playing, but never enough to log back in and look lol... This was really interesting... It blows my mind they way these devs threw away every ounce of potential this game had... It's the craziest thing I've seen in the nearly 10 years I've played these games lol... The only thing that will be more mind-blowing is if the IMR devs do the same thing. I'm glad EE is going so well for you, I can definitely relate to the excitement in playing it and making content for it. I'm having an absolute blast with it, hopefully the devs keep this energy moving forward.

Its hard for a game, especially a gotcha game to exist without content creators and an advertising budget. ACE devs fail to understand these an other things. So many good ACE content creators stopped covering it. Alas you were the last one keeping it interesting. Good luck.

@@justinmorales726 so sorry bro, ive been look for the past year and theres absolutely nothing worth investing your time into. I say that as someone who has 100s of hours into multiple diff games and its really just not a viable mobile game genre these days. You either need to outright buy an old turn based jrpg or get into wuthering waves or something else thats action oriented. Shin megami tensei on switch is awesome and the new one coming out will hopefully be great as well. The markets saturated with trash.

Assassin set was fixed in a day. The update created bugs, but they did fix the bugs quickly. Game still has a ton of issues though.

I feel the exact same way. I unfortunately already got tired of the daily chores of IMR. I'm hoping the same thing doesn't happen with EE because I'm absolutely loving it as well. I am hopeful that it won't just because so much of the boring "daily chores" battles are able to be skipped (arena, guild boss, wasteland battles)

Hey Dan don't feel bad. I played this game from day 1 and stopped playing about 6 months ago but still watch your videos to see what's going on. my account was f2p and it had like 4 ld heroes but didn't feel like building them since I lost interest. Hopefully EE doesn't do the same thing as ace

#1 thing for me was leveling gear with other gear. I hate that kind of system. level 12 to 15 took so many mats. *Edit to agree with you on arena

Amen. That’s why I left Raid, too. I worked my butt off for a mediocre Lego once and ended up 5 shards short, so it was AAAAALLLLLLLL for nutin.

Thank you for putting out there and for trying to keep ACE going before now. I enjoyed it at the start too, but it quickly soured my taste toward it. I'm F2P and I don't have a single 70.... it's impossible. I gave up and moved on. I hope whatever you choose to play/create content for gives you joy and is a better experience. 😁👍

I have been playing since soft launch and I agree with all your points. game went from being so f2p to jst gone rsl way. being able to farm jelly and level anyone up to never being able to 70 anyone From being able to farm all skill ups from arcane dungeons to Introducing books and making it impossible to get. Hate how a game i enjoyed went downhill, even before the year ended… u cant even get back to the game considering all lvl 70s, masteries, fabled gear etc etc… anyway you were one of the early cc who helped me with ACE!! Always been fun. :)😊

Im glad I watched this. I was about to start playing because I saw an add for AoT. But it felt fishy when I started playing and there was literally nothing for new players. I come from Epic 7 and 7DS Grand Cross, where they roll out the red carpet for new players. I can reroll years after the games released and start off strong because of how well they treat new players. This game seems like it’s about to die. I deleted it.

I'm pretty much at the point where it's hard for me to advance without Gangelo. So many things shouldn't require a certain hero and now that they are releasing what seems like 20 new heros a month it makes it even harder to get Gangelo. I just dont play much anymore.

Wow, thanks for the heads up man! I just came back to try out ACE again (usual cycle through my gacha's), and noticed the changes. Good to know that they are mostly broke and poor design, I'll probably just catch up on some resources, grab the free gold from the event, and move on. I'll have to check out eternal evolution, sounds good. A few other games I play: epic7 and artery gear. I hear Niika is pretty good as well, haven't tried it yet.

The game was good when I started playing in spring 2022 but like Dan said the quality has declined dramatically, I've picked up IMR after seeing Dan's content for it. I would give it a try, similar type of game just overall better ATM. Plus his content for IMR is high quality like it is for ACE

I don't know why the Devs continue to make so many baffling decisions like this, particularly when they drive away the core of players that made this game what it was to begin with. PLayed this game when it was an Alpfa test, beta test, after it got officially released - played for 2 months, devs sucked, no proper updates, nothing was tested - I said F it and went back to E7.

Ive been complaining about ACE & the P2W aspects for months now in my vids, even broke down what the issues were & im f2p. Sad to see another huge content creator like you leaving the game but i suspected as much from your last few vids especially the taleisin vid BUT you mentioned ACE copied IMR and Raid, but i feel ALL of these games copy raid and try to make certain aspects better, ACE started it off very f2p friendly then IMR and now Eternal Evolution. All of these games are very much the same. Thankfully ive stuck with Dislyte which i feel is still very f2p friendly EE and IMR give out massive content creator rewards, thats why so many guys are moving over to theose 2 games. BUT just like ACE they do not seem like long term games, seem very much short term cash grabs like ACE If you're a CC you should play & promote IMR & EE, there incentives are huge for content creators

Loved ACE. Played it for 8 months. Main reason is was so f2p friendly. I was sad to see it went in the p2w direction. I am playing Eternal Evolution now. Which is amazing. Same fear though. They change it overnight and it is p2w.

I was not end game, was f2p, right the game is a battle of gear, but so much content needed to get gear was gated behind specific heroes if not then have to build mediocre-bad heroes and then equip godlike gear to have them do the job. It was because of this amongst other small QOL things which i really hated that i quit

Yup, I got bored of the daily grind and back then you couldn't minimize auto battles when you were farming so I quit... The same thing happened with Exos Heroes, used to play everyday but then devs happened. They changed the game completely and I just couldn't.

quit a few months back, was like lvl 60+ as f2p... the thing that was realy annoying to me was I never got a Gangelo and back then it was realy needed for dungeons, they were pumping out new legos that didnt change the meta... it was more fun then RAID, events were decent, as a f2p i could get 85% of the stuff.... pity that the devs didnt listen to feedback

End of an Era indeed. I had big hopes for this game. Followed it closely and played the betas. Invested heavily with my wallet. It's going out gruelingly slow and with a whimper. RTA and background autobattle did nothing to save the ship. Now my hope is in Project Knights to become something. I'm not a big fan of idle rpgs (had my fill) so Eternal Evo just isn't for me.

yep not much more to say. ACE shadow legends has really gone to shit. I enjoy that so much content is just straight up locked behind certain heroes. you cannot do the highest pve content without specific heroes and good luck getting them youll just get pity epics and pity RGB leggo on your 100th summon. eternal evolution is pretty neat, its worth a check out for sure.

For some reason ACE did not market & advertise itself enough. Its a great game and I really liked it, much better then Raid but it failed on marketing & advertising, also wasn't great at encouraging CC's to cover it, stay with it. Its a shame really.

played ACE since launch, really enjoyed my time but as of about 8~ months ago they ruined the game over time. The first issue was releasing faction wars w/ gear craft material as the reward, and then adding the books behind a pay wall instead of adding the books to faction wars like they should have. They also went in this crazy B line move towards a "gear" meta and the game just didn't recover after that imo. Then you've got clan boss and the lackluster rewards... etc etc etc. The game just didn't evolve into something worth continuing with.

Game is good, but has incorrect settings. Faction wars are too hard. Void tower is too hard. Champion bonuses from books do not make sense. Etc.

I too wake up and play before work on ee it's fun easy to play and gear is not too complicated they made it simple and f2p friendly for the most part. There are somethings I wish were not behind a pay wall like the quantum machine because that is actually a deterrent for f2p people they see the resources but now can't get it because they have to pay 5 usd to get it. Wish they can give us a place where we can get them for free if we do certain tasks have a chest with rare hard to obtain goods in on the daily or even make a weekly mission that has things in. Also rubelight is really hard to get make a chest with like 5000 in that you get every 10 or so stages of the soul mine. The summoning I can't tell the difference between blue and purple drops because I'm color blind they both look blue to me add a extra animation like fireworks or something make it feel special and for a sss I'd make it pop out a sss on screen that blows up or something. It's tiny things they can improve on to make the game abit better. Also I feel like the dungeons are a bit too difficult because you need to evolve to get enough power but if you don't get copies of hero's you need then you stuck. Like me for a week I been stuck on the spider dungeon because I can't get copies of aoe champions like Omar and it's frustrating I have all single target legendary hero's all my aoe are yellow epic or red epic and I can't do anything in the spider cave I've tried every day with Emma now at legendary I can't beat it 7 where I'm on 10 in dece
