I abundantly agree with you. In my opinion, I think I can honestly say that everyone does want views, I get it. It is what motivates all of us to do what we do currently. There’s differences between to do what we love and to do it for the views and attention. I’m somewhat in between. Yes, 4 years ago I was doing for the views but I, currently, actually have a passion for 3d video editing. This topic has supported me to what I want to do in life. I usually post to show my work; that is though how I am motivated. Everyone is quitting for the same/ similar reasons. It takes time from all of us to get a piece of our work published. Times are different for all of us; we work on it for similar times. My average is 12 hrs per Typograph edits. I don’t do normal edits as it’s not what attracts people to my channel and I to be honest, I can’t do those type of edits so I stick to what I specialise in. I to be honest, I have been thinking of quitting; a few of my family members have been saying the same thing: there’s no point doing something if you have been doing it for years and don’t get payed, no sign of growth after years of doing it, taking hrs to do it when you have interests to focus on and family to bond with. We have a life. I want to focus on my interests: psychology and graphology (personality by handwriting type), working towards being an author, and 3d video editing that’s not Roblox. I have other interests as well. I struggle with Asperger’s syndrome (form of ASD/Autism) and a possible physical condition: I get tired ever so easily and school drains me; by the time I get to finish my school work, Im absolutely flat out. I can confirm that most of us with 1k+ would of been getting some money in by now but we are not due to KZbin changing the partner program 3 years back so it is ever so difficult even getting a penny in. I know I don’t post a lot. Into the bargain, I have my reasons. I am less motivated due to being suck on the same numbers of subscribers for months on end and no view improvement to what I should be expecting according to my KZbin studio analytics. Things die out easily; nothing lasts forever. A lot of people quit if they are getting older or have their own reasons; I think it is about time we all move on to something else or edit a different fandom. A lot of people tend to leave as well due to the influence of others. To elucidate my explanation - I don’t even watch these things - people’s drama videos are showing up all over my recommendations page and it is putting me off, speaking the truth. Allegedly, it’s the same thing for most of us. We’re sick of it. I’ve had to stop posting alot back in 2023 due to my mental health as I was trying to focus on keeping myself alive due to peer-on-peer abuse within school because those id***s think they can treat me lack smack because I think differently to them; looking back, that was messed up what they were doing to me. (I’m fine and well now.)
