This episode was very emotional. It just shows how much Midas cares. He came back to life all for Jules, but had to sacrifice FOR HER. Tony, Fade, and the other Avengers just can’t see it. It’s true, they gave her actual medical attention, but Midas knew he couldn’t stay with her long, so he just wanted to speak to her face-to-face. Midas has done everything for his daughter. He betrayed and killed agents that trusted him, he committed suicide to bring her back from the gold. When he asked to die again, it was so Enforcer couldn’t control him and hurt Jules. Marigold gave him motivation to fight Enforcer. The end of the episode was a bit of a cliffhanger for me because I wanted to know if she would ignore everyone or go back to herself. So yeah, I’m not the crying type, but I got a little teary eyed when I saw how much Jules really cared.

The Midas family just has terrible luck: Midas's mom killed by Oro Midas's brother jealous of Midas and eventually killed by Midas Midas's wife died giving birth to Marigold Marigold/Jules turned gold for years, was told her father a madman, and just had to turn him gold before eyes Midas lost everyone he loved, became obsessed with taking down Oro and bringing back Marigold, and had to sacrifice himself twice basically

Gotta say, for a short arc created after the drop of Fortnitemares, this was amazing. I know Midas being in Tony's head was setup to lay the foundation for Midas Rex, but this was intense, brilliantly acted, and wrapped up nicely to bring things to a close on-time for the end of Fortnitemares. And as we've seen, the gold touch isnt ALWAYS an end, so Midas Rex is still on the table as an option. Thanks Newscapepro for the Halloween arc :>

midas’s life must suck his mom died got the “curse” of the golden touch accidentally turned his daughter to gold lost meowscles (he came back but still) lost skye (she also came back tho) His brother was jealous of him so he was forced to kill him had to turn skye and meowscles to gold (they were like family to him) had to sacrifice himself for his daughter when he sacrificed himself for Jules she didn’t care when she came back and kinda hated him came back but was in Tony’s head finally really came back but was being controlled by enforcer and basically had to sacrifice himself again so he wouldn’t hurt anyone and now is back as Midas Rex but who knows what’s gonna happen next
