Thanks for your reply, Tom. Please, do whatever readings move you personally. You do so well at selecting them. Wonderful.

@coolkayaker1 Thank you for your knd words. The length of the readings don't make preparation time much longer - not much more than the extra time it takes to read.. A couple of hours in all, maybe. Theer's another mention of Indian Camp below. I'll certainly consider it.

I love the way Hemingway doesn't use an inner monolog to tell you have the characters are feeling but instead lets you judge it by looking at their body language and speech.

Tom. This is gorgeous. The long pieces, like this, and Bananafish excerpt, must take you a great deal of time, for the recording and words. Independent of the poster below, I searched your channel for Hemingway in the hopes of hearing "Indian Camp", a glorious 1500 word story, again featuring Nick, where his father wishes, after the fact, that he hadn't brought "Nicky" to see "that". How revelatory. I will, eventually, hear all of your readings. Sublime.

i've been a fan of yours for awhile...i wonder in i could possibly convince you to read In Another Country...your voice is so evocative, i'd think itd complement the story perfectly...honestly when i read Hemingway, the voice i imagine coming from the page of the endearing and coarse plain language isnt far from yours....

"The End of Something" ... something??? - not even - the end of what once was beautiful. What an insult to the lady. What a dreary man he must have been. Beautiful poetry ... wonderfully read ... however, Ernest Hemingway would not have been on my list of desirable men.
