Nice to see your setup, awesome you have electricity and that heat. Those are some long hours and working at night, but like you said driving that far got to make it worth it. What a cute kitty 😘 Glad she found her owner. At first I was like, am I watching the wrong video, a cat!?!? LOL! Not everyone can say they climbed a beet pile. 😁 Unreal the view up there, WOW!!! Yeah that clean up job, yuck what a mess but you did a good job. Looking forward to your wrap up video of details and money. If you go back you, can check in with the kitty. I really enjoy your videos and am able to share them with my teenage grandkids. Your lifestyle helps broaden their horizon. To many times we have a way of life shoved at us. When simple living is really living. Some day I’d like to see your Jeep personally. My wife and I are at retirement age64 and we enjoy mild off-road type Fire Roads and National Forest roads driving in our XJ. Again thanks for sharing your lifestyle. Enjoy your next horizon.

Thanks! Not always positive, but I try to be these days! I try not to get too worked up over things that I can’t change and keep a good attitude. I get to live a decent and interesting life, so staying positive helps keep it in perspective!

Wow, seems like a really short season. What impacts the season? Crop yield? Thanks for sharing!

The weather mostly. Sugar beets can only be harvested at certain temps and not during hard rains or snow. The yield has an impact as well. This year the yield was decent, but the weather was great. So farmers went hard to get the beets out of the ground and didn’t have to play a lot of guessing games, or take much risk as to when to harvest.
