The statue of Gabriel taking the place of Emilie's statue could be a metaphor that he is not really gone, in the same way that everyone thought that Emilie had died but her body was hidden under the Agreste mansion, and since Lila has a kind of lair that is also underground it would be the perfect parallel, and that glow that scares her could be Gabriel.

It also bugs me that Gabriel got his wish. I mean, the whole universe was destroyed and remade and no one else had any choice in it. Everyone is so happy but it feels wrong because it's like cheating on a test: no hard work was done to make people happy. Lila is such a wild card. Even though I hate the fact that Adrian doesn’t know that his father was Monarch, I’m starting to come up with a theory with why the writers made Marinette keep this a secret from Adrian. Next season might have a theme about lying because now Lila is the new villain. Lila and Marinette have both lied but for different reasons. This makes a similarity for the protagonist (Ladybug) and the antagonist (Lila). Maybe this fact will be used against Marinette next season. I’m not sure if this makes sense but this is just a thought. :)

Yeah I hope we finally get her backstory I really want to know why she's the way she is why she keeps lying to get what she wants and why she's trying to get Marinette's friends to turn against her I mean look how many people have been waiting to see why Marinette is a creepy stalker around Adrian and I guess some people waited to see why she's so mean to cat sometimes as ladybug adrenixx and the cartoon Hotspot are the only ones who gotten it so far and it finally came this season and chole got her backstory way earlier in season 2 no wonder everyone keeps complaining about her "redemption arc" being thrown away and look the main villan of the show (who's dead now) had a reason why he's a bad father and why he's a supervillan Adrian I can tell that the reason he's the way he is around ladybug it's totally his father's fault for locking him up for 13 years and yeah because he's a sentimonster he can't control himself in front of his dad and we kind of already knew Felix's backstory but there's still no hints or reasons Lila is the way she is if we're going to interact with her next season she explains her backstory to the viewers not only to find out were her lying thing comes from but also to explain were her 3 moms were she gets 3 identities we get to see if she's either a human or an alien and most importantly we see if she was actually in love with Adrian or her "crush" was just another one of her lies to make Marinette jealous I think she actually wanted Marinette to get jealous in the first place and she wasn't lying about her and ladybug being friends to impress Adrian even though that doesn't excuse ladybug for what she did there

Lila's reputation was only harmed at school and no one in the fashion business would care about that as the face of Gabriel's Woman's brand she has no reason to not simply say "My face is one millions of screens and hundreds of posters" Gimme a modelling job. Besides she has less competition since the show decided to throw Juleka's dreams of modelling out the airlock and make her cut up dead bodies for a living instead.

I really do hope that Ladybug reveals everything to Cat Noir at some point in season 6. That would definitely strengthen their bond as friends and partners. However, It would be pretty sad to watch Adrien have to deal with this heartbreaking news about who his father really was. That would probably affect him in both his civilian and superhero lives. Come to think of it, maybe that's why Ladybug told Adrien about how his father basically "saved the day" in order to save him from experiencing that pain, or at least delay it. Because honestly, if the world knew that the famous fashion designer Gabriel Agreste was the villain all along, Adrien and his loved ones would probably face A LOT of backlash. This isn't to say that I agree with this ending---it sucked---but I can understand why it ended that way IF that's what was intended.

I think Gabriel found a way to come back from the beyond. The blue light reminds me of his eyes. Also back in Timetagger, they said it was Hawk moth that sent him. However, they have been saying Lila's villian name is Chrysalis or something. I don't see her calling herself Hawkmoth. Or it might be Ms. Tsurugi, maybe she made some kind of portal and tracked her down by technological. She said she also wanted to make a wish. I would rather it be her than Lila. I hope she doesn't know LB's identity because that would not be fair. I can't wait to find out what will happen. But I hate that I'll have to watch Lila for a whole season. I don't like her at all.

I agree that the color scheme seems to point to the blonde in the ending scenes being Emelie, but, for both Emelie and Natalie to be alive and well (seemingly), Gabriel would have had to make two wishes, or two sacrifices. So, either there is some other sacrifice that was made that we're not yet aware of to allow both women to survive, or, and my own train of thinking, Gabriel took Marinette's words to heart, and sacrificed himself and Emelie to preserve Natalie's life and some yet unknown benefit. It stands to reason that this may be Amelie because her son, Felix is also present in the end scenes. She may be Adrien's new legal guardian and she and Felix may have moved into the Agreste home. Or, if the blonde is Emelie after all, maybe the very end scene where Lyla is frightened is her being harmed as a sacrifice for restoring Natalie's health, while Gabriel sacrificed himself for Emelie. I assumed Natalie was unconscious, not dead prior to the battle between BugNoir and Monarch. Anyway, just a few thoughts!

I would like to see Adrien more in the final, like discovering his dad being Monarch, because I wanted to watch Adrien fight his dad and all that, and maybe when he figures out the truth, he will break down. He doesn't fight, and Marinette takes the black cat miraculously to be Bug Noire and continues to fight. Also, I don't think of it as Gabriel won because he died; he made everyone live a lie, and no one wins here. We also need to find out what Tomeo is planning, so who knows what could happen? I understand throughout the season, his anger got the best of him a lot, like in Jubilation and Derision, Adrien almost cataclysm Mr. Damocles and Kim because of his anger, and now that he has unlimited cataclysms now, who knows what kind of damage he could do with it. As far as we know, they can't just turn off their powers when activated, as seen in other heroes and magic TV shows and movies. As for what happens to "Lila" at the end, at least for me, it seems like she's the balance/price for the part of the wish as Gabriel is part of the sacrifices for Emilie, but for Nathalie, we don't know what the price is is and maybe because "Lila" is equivalent to Gabe for being a horrible person as it's the balance that Gimmi was talking about. I understand that "Lila" is the next Hawk Moth and all, but if her only motive to be a villain is her pettiness over Marinette, then that isn't a good motivation. However, suppose she learns that she was part of the price for Gabriel's wish to create balance in the universe, plus her pettiness with Marinette, to me. In that case, that makes more sense as "Lila" would have not just hatred towards Marinette but extends towards Adrien now as he's Gabe's son, and she'll put all the blame on him, putting a bigger target on Adrien. I think "Lila's" role as the villain next season is to make not just Marinette's and Adrien's lives miserable but everyone in their lives, from their friends and family because we see in Timetagger that Nino's little brother was akumatize. We know that Chris has a slight crush on "Lila" at the end of the episode, and who's to say that she won't abuse that to turn Chris against Nino and the miraculous team? Also, who's to say that Gabriel didn't brainwash/erase Marinette's memory in forgetting he is Monarch to make it seem he is the hero in the story that sacrificed himself to save Paris, but he didn't think of "Lila" who knows the truth and can weaponize it to get the citizens of Paris angry at the heroes for lying and hiding the truth this is something I can see her doing. One thing I saw someone discuss "Lila" role as the new student at the school is befriending Marinette and manipulating her into thinking that her friends don't care or are there for her, seeing what has happened throughout season 1-5 when Marinette calls out Lila for lying everyone dismissed her because they thought she was jealous and didn't take her concerns seriously. Marinette technically still has trust issues that can be exploited. And then, "Lila" can act like she's the true hero and faithful friend and that Ladybug, Chat Noir, and the miraculous team are the real villains. I do hope Marinette does talking to Chat Noir about what happened when fighting Monarch and mentions a truth that Gabriel told her to keep secret from his son, which makes Chat question some things because we have to remember that Nathalie, Plagg, and Felix know the truth as well and he could learn it from them. The following season is going to be interesting.

Well I sure hope Marinette's "friends" get a taste of their medicine after all this episodes were they always treat her like a jealous seeker because of Lila I so want them punished to teach them a lesson for this I just can't believe the writers would suggest Adrian to believe Marinette amongst the rest of her friends I mean look how stupid he can be as cat noir (his true self) and lila's making him smart amongst Marinette's "best friend" Alya and the "smartest kid" in school max Alya should have been the one with Marinette on this Lila situation sense she's been her best friend sense season 1 she should know everything about ladybug as she always checks the ladyblog and yeah it should have been gang of secrets were she finds out that Lila was lying about her and ladybug being friends as she found out that ladybug is the person who treats her likes she's worse than hitler but nope they really want something to make Adrian look smart and making him a human so yeah they made the stupidest character in the show over one of the smartest characters here and yeah ladybug keeps yelling at cat for being an idiot so why not her Lila zombie "friends"? Oh and yeah I really hate the way Marinette acts around Lila which is why lila's the total nightmare of this show I really hate having a whole class or any group worshipping someone and only one is getting upset so yeah I think I would like it to go the other way around I want to see Marinette see Lila the opposite of how she had seen her in the past and the rest of her friends suspicious around her rather than staring at her and listening to everything she says

If anything happens to Adrien's amok he could be injured or even killed, so not telling is actually putting him at risk instead of protecting, he needs to know the truth so he can take care of his amok and be really free, it's something only he can do and even if others tried there would be no way to protect him always especially when Adrien doesn't even know what needs to be protected, he needs to do it himself.

as it is a huge ass mansion, it's very possible there are multiple areas that look like the statue of Emily in the scripts it was physically mentioned that Emily returned, and gave the rings to adrien but in the semi midway product that was leaked in the scene where it says who everyone IS, it doesnt specify if that's Emily or Amily in the FINAL product, most lines were changed adrien no longer says that his mother gave him the rings, he says "when ladybug gave me the rings" also, as we know, if you wish for something something of equal relevence takes its place and we know that gabriel was allready an hour or so from dying and that Emily was basically on the brink of dying if not kept alive by the machine Natalie was on somewhat the brink of death as the peacocks wounds became her own and we did hear gabriels wish and toll "read my heart" "read my soul" then both gabriel and Emily fly off to the sky (presenting going to the afterlife together (as she wasnt quite dead yet) so we can assume the wish and toll were "i want my son to be happy and protected" "let go, and die with my wife in exchange" and per the Emily wears pink and black, Amily also wears pink and black, just Emily wears more pink, while Amily wears more black and she does seem to wear more black there (which is just my opinion, as stated that the creator said the colors dont really mean nothing) my final thought is, Felix is there, so his mom would also want to be there in the party (as gabriel kept pushing her away, but now they should be together for adrien, as his parents died) and the cherry on top, all the lines refering her to Emily were removed, putting more concrete evidance that emily is gone (and Emily's statue being gone could also mean she's REALLY gone now)

also, another small point, you said it yourself "it was all about him not wanting to be away from Emily" ah yes, so let me resurrect my dead wife, and kill myself he wouldnt have done that, he knew everyone was at peace with her death, except for him, as he wanted to be with her, so with the wish, he wished for his son to have a loving family (aka natalie) and at the cost of returning with his wife to the afterlife (exactly as he wanted!, just without sacrificing Adrien's happiness or someone else's life)

She didn't tell Adrien because that would be to much of a shock for him in this moment. It was simply not the right time, to unpack all that you need preparation, Adrien is very sensible, clueless and has just had the worst year of his life, simply throwing all that on him would be cruel. Plus the topics are so complex and delicate it's best to have at least 1 whole season to explore every aspect with the needed care.

How the hell was Gabriel able to use Venom while not Transformed ? Doesn't he have to specifically transfer the powers to an active state to get them to work and one would assume magic has to be involved otherwise you'd have some random person using Clout on people which would likely just kill them too.
