Nice job!*** I did my whole Morris Ital van with white enamal paint one time with a sponge gloss roller (japlac)..it looked Smashing....May do the same with the Transit Camper if and when it needs it ....looks OK at the moment white 😊

Good evening T&C. Love the tour you gave us of the stunning Bergerac! I've always loved the graphics you did on Freddie and you've done him justice once again with a cracking makeover MrT 👏 I returned from our little mini 3 week adventure of Spain & Portugal. Covered 3000 miles and loved every minute of it, particularly Spain with our final day spent in the incredible city of Segovia. Encountered a Couple of issues with the van (Fiat Ducato auto) which still need resolving but will get those sorted before our next trek out. A very happy new year to you both and the fresh-faced Freddie of course.

Yes, we loved the metallic vinyl on Freddie, but after 5 years of narrow roads, it was starting to look a little tatty and paint is loads easier to apply. @@adventurevanfreddie as keen photographers, it's a must - particularly the Viaduct! I grabbed a couple of cracking shots but would've loved a sunrise through the arches at dawn. Our visit was at the wrong time of year to get a good shot while the streets were empty and the sun rises early! Van issue is minor but it was concerning at the time (didnt help that FIAT did away with the good old dipstick....they call that progress!!!). Long story mate but it's getting sorted now 👍. Nice end to the trip. Bergerac looks great, one for our future travels when we venture across the water 😁👍. Anorak! Tjats a boadt from the oast Tony, you shoud get a modern jacket like my duffle coat🤣🤣. The wooden toggle buttons are just right for my fat finger syndrome 🤣. Nice paint job on Freddie by the way. I think painting is the eay forward as ive noticed our vinyl graphics are shrinking and some have only been on a couple of years🙄. Yeah my kind of place,as you say no two buildings the same, makes you look,pay attention, open up conversation with those around you, only one thing was there good coffee shops and toilet facilities,I need both at my age 😂. Bergerac looks really nice . I've been to a lot of Northern France near the Belgium border and disneyland in my coach travel days but I must come and do the same trip as you guys have done before I croak ! Your house looks lovely and rustic. You put a hell of a lot of your hard earned into it but what a lovely place to wake up. Please tell me that was the village green and not your back garden !!!! Well our friend, if you ever decide to drive a similar route, we have a great place in mind where you could stay for a few days👍😉. Haha, the house is not so nice in the winter with only one small fire to help keep warm🤣😭. We'll get there eventually, it all takes time etc. Village green🤣, it's a lot smaller in reality, however, as you know, the prices of houses and land here are amazingly low in comparison to the UK...yipee👍. I made the rear door platform because sometimes we carry more water and fuel (although we've not used it for that purpose for some time), however, it's great for ramps etc, especially when they're wet. You can see it better in this vid: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sJzIY6hsoqaSjaMsi=KXK4wQWq9lZk-MK7 Its basically 2 x 1.5m of 5mm right angle aluminium bolted through the door ladder and 2 strong brackets bolted to the angle. Hi both. Happy new year. What size - texture rollers did you use on Freddie? My film is already cracking after only 2 .5 years. Thinking of giving my van , boxer like yours, a re vamp. Rustoleum looks like a good one to try. If that is your house in the back ground, nice place. Where did you find sunny weather?😮

Hey up, many thanks for watching. I (Tony) used a small 2 1/2 inch roller, although a standard 4 inch roller would be fine. I personally wouldn't use a textured roller, the foam ones are better for vehicles. Rust-Oleum Combie Color is brilliant for vehicles and can be thinned with white spirit. Haha, we found the sun by moving to France lol. I'll put the whole painting video on KZbin tomorrow. If you need any advice reference paint etc, give us a shout on here (I used to be a vehicle panel beater and sprayer before I joined the military). Take care and all the very best. 👍💙❤️🚐🇫🇷
