What truly stunned me was that against insurmountable odds Thanos would not only return to defend his previous success in this year’s Champions Rumble, but ‘somehow’ he would go on to win and become a 2x Champions Rumble winner. Thanos was definitely the guy to beat in this rumble, but sadly none of the other 29 champions were able to truly capitalize on the opportunity. If a season 4 were to feature the men’s run of the rumbles, we definitely know who’d be in that champions rumble. Now who do I think was the MVP of this rumble? Let’s get down to the numbers: Out of thirty competitors outside of this rumble, an estimated 13 competitors actually eliminated the majority of the competition (Including our host with the most, Ricky J. Sports). With the highest elimination count of the match as well as the longest length in the match overall, I’d give my Golden MVP prize would go to our 2x champion, Thanos. Whereas the dull participation medal for the ‘lamest’ performance would have to go to… Optimus Prime. The autoboot captain never really had a chance to prove himself in that match and his momentum was crushed before it could even get rolling. Thanks for a season of fantastic memories and look forward to what you have in store in the near future.

Thanos is a beast!!!! I thought Pennywise would do really well and he did it was the luck of the draw that halted him in his tracks. Unthinkable Baby did it at number 1 but that was with 29 wrestlers in and not 30. Thanos came in at number 16 and was totally destructive from the onset. Would love to see if he can three peat. The only final four prediction I got right was Weird Al. Like about 75% of predictors, I had Unthinkable Baby as the winner, but Baby did the Unthinkable and was eliminated in seconds. Thanks for all the entertainment Ricky. All 3 seasons have been brilliant. There is a bit of a pattern here where someone looks really dominant going into the final and then is made quick work of in the final. This time it was Unthinkable Baby and last time it was Giant Undertaker. It happened in S1, but can’t remember whom with. Maybe Pennywise. Devastated that the wrestlers JUST… CAN’T… WIN! Even though they had an excellent ratio with a 6 on 2 advantage jus before Weird Al came in. But even that wasn’t enough. Look forward to S4 and I’d love to see a season with a 32 team Survivor Series tournament at some point in the future. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

If you need ideas, when I had to do online teaching I did a 256 man elimination tournament. Top guys near 100 are ranked high and face lower ranked guys in the first few rounds. (like a tennis tournament) I put it on auto and recorded who won each match using proper brackets. Loads of fun.

I mean it makes perfect sense. Thanos acts like a 100+++ overall character. He is insanely powerful and loads up his finisher quickly. And take a close look at his healing abilities in the last rumble match: he was all drained and beat up in one minute and almost fully recharged a minute later.
