I’m such a visual learner and need things “dumbed down” for me. This definitely helped me understand better

I'm so glad i found this video that can explain the endomembrane system that seemed to be so complicated 40 pages in the textbook, 4 hours in the class and I was so close to drop off the bio class and here is this video that sum everything up in few minutes.

Read my module and my thoughts were all over the place. I couldnt organize the the terms and functions, and how they connect to each other. After watching this, I reread my Bio module and I finally got a proper visual. Thank you so much for this. It really helps.

I like the brevity of this video. I wish this were updated to show vesicle movement from cis to trans side of Golgi. Vesicles from the RER are received by the Golgi on the cis side (faces nucleus). Vesicles leave the Golgi on the trans side which is away from the nucleus and facing the plasma membrane.

Ah, my Bio teacher had a different diagram for the Golgi Apparatus and she was like: " They kind of look like pancakes!" And I was like... "I don't see it." Now I see it, because of this awesome diagram! This was a very helpful and informative video! Thank you this helped me alot!

Rough Er is generally attached to the nuclear envelope whereas smooth Er is found freely suspending in the cytoplasm (fluid in the cell)

Wait, hold on. My book says that RER is more abundant in the liber and the SER in the muscles. I think you got that wrong.
@irinashutovsky4413
@irinashutovsky4413 5 жыл бұрын
SER does detoxification so there are high amounts in the liver, which does detoxification. SER is also in muscle storing calcium, which is used for muscle contraction.

Ya this video is ofcourse nice But I would request to peoples stop criticising your professors they always do their best to explain you It is your mistake that you don't read it once before going in your class and that's why you come out with confusion When you come to vedio you have already an idea about it in your mind so you get it easily . So please don't criticise your teachers

Terrible video. Describes in a way that somehow makes the topic even harder to understand. To make it even worse, the reader has a terrible lisp, one that I felt worsened the quality of video. Very disappointing.
