Really wonderful interview with Megan, the selection of questions was great and balanced so well between things about her own career and just general advice that she herself would give to those interested in wanting to get into voice acting. It's always interesting hearing how people got into the profession cause it tends to vary so drastically from person to person. Love how much you can tell Megan really enjoys doing what she does and how much of a lifelong fan of anime and manga she's been, her excitement for her work is awesome to see. Thanks Megan for being an awesome Jailbird, and thanks Nerissa for hosting this interview and bringing us a glimpse of the voice acting world through the eyes and Experience of Megan Shipman Of the whole interview, several topics discussed definitely activated the newtype flash on me. The one in particular to me was when she was talking about dubbing Sasha. And how she was putting the effort to match the previous VA, so for the audience is indistinguishable. I remember being shocked when the DBZ English dub dropped in toonami and switched from Ocean dub to Funimation. The character voices sounded so different even the music. And it felt like getting the rug pulled off your footing and certainly, for me personally, it hindered a bit the enjoyment at the beginning since I enjoyed the previous va's work. When Megan pointed that out, it really hit me what she meant by it. I also found interesting the finger technique to make sounds as if you're half underwater. I'm now actually curious how many of those there are It was a great stream that is definitely worth watching several times! Btw grats on the 769k(NICE) Nerissa!

Just from seeing the small bits of the interview you had with this lovely woman Nerissa, it was bothering me because my brain was going I think I heard her voice somewhere before. So I did some research and I have heard this voice actress in a couple of things before Specifically attack on Titan and I'm impressed with the fact that she was voicing not only Sasha from the final season but also Anya from Spy x family. Then everyone in chat was all bringing up a specific series with booby ninjas(RIP Senran Kagura) and when I found out who she voiced in that series, I was shocked. Never thought we live in a world where Hibari got Reincarnated as Anya and Anya's VA is also in the VA Vtuber game. Small world lol but still excellent job in interviewing her on your channel Rissa!
