Just got these in a few weeks ago & one of the best investments i ever made on these lightweight wheels. Did alot of research on the weight online which comes in at 22.2 pounds for the 19x9.5 et35 5x120. I clocked it in at 22.5 pounds on a digital scale so not so far off. FYI don't ever get overpriced cast wheels. Do your research!!!

So far so good. Enkei hold their warranty and craftsmanship for their customers. Mine has been good so far. Only rocks chips here and there due to the outside elements, but other than that it still looks like it just came out from the box. Ppl always giving me compliments on the TY-5’s

Are these flow formed or rotary forged? Why so light weight. And how much?

Hoang Nguyen From my research and all the information that was given to me by Enkei their MAT Technology is based on flow forming. Meaning it’s one of the MOST ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY= MAT. This particular set came in at roughly 27.3 pounds each. As far as dependability goes these have by far been the best set of rims I’ve purchased. Just to give you an example I went from owning cast wheels to expensive cast wheels, two piece & 3 piece wheels are great and save you weight, but your wallet suffers and my Enkei’s have been the best deal for me. Written a few reviews for this particular set and I’ve been super happy with them.

Eddie Kaine original poster said 22.5 lbs and you saying 27lbs, why such a big discrepancy. For flow formed 22lbs sounds more correct. I had tsw nurburgring ( rotary forged) weighing 19lbs for 18x8

who would have thought that Subaru would adopt a similar design for their WRX 18" wheel on Premium and Limited trims as well as the base wheel on the STi. Always curious as to why Enkei 8.5" and 9.5" wide wheels are always at +35mm offset and not +38 or +40. On my WRX, the +35 offset pushes the wheel further out than I want in both the front and rear. A +40 or even a +45 would be nice as the factory offsets their 18x8 wheels at +55.

Hey Alex first of all thanks for the videos! I do have a question though, does the offset of a wheel affect the concave at all? For example would a 18x9.5 +15 wheels have a deeper concave compared to the same 18x9.5 wheel with a +40 offset? Thanks again!

Bit of concave at the center of the wheel. To get concave for most Enkei wheels you need to go 18x9.5
