not sure if this will reach you but what gems are you running for the last boss to not take so much damage or special gear? the fire and that pillar does a lot more damage to me

I'm just running ruby's in my gear to help negate it. And I may have some heals down under me during the fight (not sure, don't remember the details of this anymore haha). Also, you can dodge into the waves to i-frame them (take no damage)

How did you stop heru's wave instantly with out breaking all 4 pillers?

Hmmm, I'm not sure what caused that. I'd have to go back and watch to see - maybe a bug or maybe we did get them done? Or at least one or two of 'em which slowed it down?

Did you guys swap gear sets for the corrupted portion?

I didn't (I do now that I'm in M7), but I think most of the group swapped at least a couple pieces. I now run like 3/2 during the ancient part and then go 4 pieces for the corruption stuff.
