I don't mind Thomas and Friends in CGI because there would be no way to bring the miniature engines into the series at all.

Most people consider the cgi series to be inferior to the book series and model series

Agree honestly it isn’t a bad take because model series was the most accurate representation of what the book series from the 1940’s to the early 1970’s was like also an extension for that matter for that same exact series going forward instead of continuing the book series

Well That's a common take I still think Brenner era is the only good era of it (overall because there are some great stuff from Miller and BWBA era).

The only thing that I appreciate in the CGI series is when they reveal the non-cgi characters into CGI like Bulgy, Trevor, and the Sodor Construction Crew.
