Canceling by shooting actually fires your weapon at the exact same time as coming out of suitcase, so you should (at least right now) always cancel with shooting for extra burst.

Fun fact, you can charge a melee attack right after channeling barrage, allowing you to get 2 charged punches in the duration of barrage, its about 450 dmg at lvl 1. Pretty sure its a bug though

i dont think its a good idea to get it , because as pocket you don't really shoot heroes that much especially in the late game most of your damage will come from abilities. Ya it's a good item if you can consistently headshot enemies but your hero doesnt even consistently hit the heroes.

How is mcginnis an easy matchup? I have been struggling against her. You said you can "burst" her, but your full combo does less than half her hp in the early game which leaves you close to her and her ramping up machinegun which will win against pockets shot gun any day. Plus with her heal and your long cooldowns early she will be back to full hp very fast

The damage amp is bugged. Testing and it doesn't do any additional damage. I noticed this in game when hitting jungle creeps but assumed maybe they were immune. I'm playing really well with him rn and can't imagine what it will be like when they fix this.
