There was a very very big change in the domination mode. The capture points will not stay halfway captured if you leave the area. Then they made the change which was a very big improvement to domination mode.

I have played CODM since it's release but I stopped on March 2020 bcoz my phone can't keep up with the game. I came back in September 2021, and probably the first ever meta gun that I've experienced is the MX9 and Holger, but MX9 is the one that comes to my mind when I remember 2021. That gun gave me nightmares.

Back in OG season 7, the cordite owned the meta. The recoil was nonexistent, the damage held up over range, and fire rate was one of the highest at the time. On top of that the hip fire was totally broken. You really didn’t need to ads unless the gunfight was further than 15 meters. The QQ9 technically was better by TTK but recoil made it much harder to use. The cordite made all the of the ARs practically obsolete unless you wanted to play a true main AR role. It also out performed every other SMG at any distance. This is when I first made a push to get legendary in MP. I got there and only played with the cordite in every game mode on every map. Maybe the QQ9 and KN44 could beat it in niche circumstances, but 9/10 the cordite could do just as well as both of them. I don’t think we’ve had a single gun since then that dominated in so many categories.

The 2 tap bug wasn't during the akimbo fennec meta, that way after that. During akimbo fennec meta, hvk30 had 60m of 4 shot kill range- that made it meta
