My sims agents was my actual childhood, never managed to get the true ending since nobody on the internet had a video or guide on how to when i was a kid and i probably didnt process enough in my little grey matter.

same! and I never got the true ending either, the phone noise used to piss me off so i just never did any missions. whenever i got to the end of the game the idea of sitting through all the dispatch missions was boring as hell, and i would just restart the game instead of getting the ending

I'm so excited for this video. I worked on 2 of the MySims games as a QA, Racing and Sky Heroes. I spent longer on Racing than Sky Heroes but I actually had a lot of fun working on these and that's pretty rare for me to say about games I worked on (not that they're bad but rather no go game is good for 40 hours per week for several months in a row). If people have any questions about how these games were made I can try to answer them if they'd like. The one story I remember more than any other was the developer showed an early version of the first few tracks of racing to people at EA and the feedback they got from the people at EA was that the game felt too fast and they should remove some of the boost pads on the tracks to slow the racing game down. It made the tracks feel so much worse.

@@adamn7777 Man I loved the DS port of MySims Racing. Not sure if you worked on the port for that but I remember diving into as a kid and you couldn't stop me from playing it! Thank you for your work! I also played MySims Agent for DS and then MySims like in the video. So much fun. I need to download these again with an emulator on my pc.

I played the Racing on the Wii as a kid as was so excited, but then got extremely frustrated because I couldn’t even win the first race. Never touched the game again :( The boost pads would have been amazing! As for both of those games, I wanted to know if you had any insight into what made them shift away from their priorities of storytelling and the building aspect from the original MySims, Kingdom, and Agents? As a kid, I REALLY enjoyed these games… SkyHeros was fun but I would’ve liked more storytelling - those planes were much easier to use than the carts!

@@auevi I think, and I'll emphasize that this is just my best guess, was that they were trying to make kart racing and airplane shooting games within the context of the IP so the storytelling and building kinda took a back seat

Oh man, the DS version of My Sims reminds me of a similar community builder game Magicians Quest: Mysterious Times. I was always jealous how much different the Wii version of My Sims was compared to the DS.

First time commenting on your video - but I love the fact you're talking about MySims! MySims was everything I loved as a kid. Goofy world, tonnes of customisation, history, and secret agents? Hell yeah. Looking back, they probably were not the best games ever, but my god they were absolutely fun to goof around in with my sis on the Wii. Enjoy your extra subscriber :)

Whenever there's a pet in a game I name them Killfang because of MySims Agents. I'm shook that there's a true ending to that game lmao i played the shit outta that as a kid. The full history of Mysims is that I stayed home from school every single release date of the Mysims games from the original to Agents. When Kingdom came out I lived across the street from my middle school but I was so excited I scurried out to the car to get the game box from my step-dad and scurried back inside like the school security team would see and arrest me for not really being sick.

I had My Sims on Wii and DS AND My Sims Kingdom. I surely put a thousand hours into all 3 as a child. I think Kingdom was definitely my favorite (especially getting your own island at the end). Very underrated kids games!!! I still get happy digging up figurines of Buddy and Gino in Sims 4. Funnily enough I grew up with Sims 1 and 2, so I was in the target age demo when My Sims came out but I had already played the adult versions for years 😂

i just got my sims pc a couple of days ago and its just like the wii version but with MORE, 20 new essences, 5 new commercial characters (theres a witch with a potion shop and a toymaker) and building is so much easier! its supposed to be on the ea app but its not so i just bought a key online but 10/10 they need to make a new one.

1: MySims Agents 2: MySims 3: MySims SkyHeroes. Personally never played the other ones but I absolutely liked Sky Heroes, I don’t understand why people dislike it so much. Unlike party and racing skyheroes at least had a story and even somewhat of a plottwist with you actually original being a member of the evil team
