I still remember seeing the little pop-up in my corner on the home screen saying "The Finals of The Six Invitational are now live", having never watched any pro R6. Seeing Penta win that Coastline was the most insane feeling ever, and since then Esports has captivated me. I remember sitting in PS4 Voice Calls with friends and watching pro matches on my phone. Those days were so amazing, and the fact that the game has only evolved since just brings a huge smile to face.

The one thing i think most people don't remember and i think is super under-rated was this small promo/introduction videos from the teams in SI 2021 @1:17:39 in this video. It was so cool to see and watch and get to know, in sometimes, a goofy and cheerful manner the players from your favorite teams. I think it would be super fun and cool to do something like this for this years SI or the next one.

I watched every fucking game till nvK and Yung both went out in Challanger League. Ever since ive only watched here and there but truth is that my dearest thing in the years 2016-2019 was Pro League and EG. My favorite time of the year was not Christmas no. It was febuary because of the Six Invitational. PL shaped me a lot. Honestly i couldnt speak english before i watched Pro League. I learned english through the casters. It's a chilly Friday night in the winter of 2018. You and the boys fresh off school load up siege. The lobby music hits sending chills down your spine. You climb your way all the way to through gold to get to plat until its 4 in the morning and it's time to go to bed, wake up and repeat it all over again. Some of the best laughs and chats of my childhood. Man, take me back. Great work Milosh

Thank you so much for putting this all together Ghassan. I loved reliving all of it - the heartbreaks and tragedies are made easier by knowing that there's a community feeling them with you, and the triumphs are made more wonderful by having people with you sharing in your enthrallment. You, through all your work in Siege ESports and through this video, bring the community closer together so that we *can* feel these things together, and that makes the world of difference. This was a very beautiful essay Ghassan. I have been playing siege since BB and Valk came out back in July of 2016, and it is my first FPS game too! Remembering the late nights I spent with a bunch of mates I found on discord because of the friend who showed me this game, takes me back to my engineering bachelor's days... that excitement, that fun, the ranked games we would play by hopping onto EU servers by changing the server in the config file... Ah... Even today, I get very excited every time plane comes up in Casual (YES, CASUAL). I feel like this was a very beautiful trip down the memory lane of you, Siege, and also myself. Thanks for this :)

2022 was a interesting year, as a brazilian it was a bit sad for me since we didnt win anything but it was nice seeing TSM wining Si after having to face all BR teams, they really deserved the hammer. Charlote major was very frustrating due to the Visa issues for many BR players, I dont remember anything from that tournament. Berlim and Jonkoping were fun to watch since Faze and Liquid made it to the Grand Finals and Shaiko won something with BDS. But one interesting thing to observe was the development of W7M in that year and at the next Si.

Thank you Milosh for this incredible video and allowing me to relive so many great memories! I started playing the game back in skull rain and started watching the e-sports tournaments after the first invitational. If I remember correctly the grand final was actually the first match I ever saw and it got me hooked immediately. And with me being from Germany I cheered for Penta with KS as a German on the roaster. Obviously I was very happy with their performance over the seasons and especially their wins at SI2018, the Paris Major and SI2019. The dominance was just unreal and it all looked so easy. After the SI2020 I stopped watching R6 actively and also quit playing a few month later. I was quit happy about the pity invite for G2 and deep down I had some hope that they will prove everyone wrong and defend the title a second time. But with SirBoss being brought on last minute and the generell spirit in the team it was very hard and in hindsight impossible to do it once again. I did watch last years SI grand final and did cheer for G2 just because I had some kind of connection to the org and I also hopped for Fabian to lift the hammer a third time. And I also watched every G2 game of the current SI and obviously cheer for G2 once again, especially for UUNO as him being on the OG roaster back in the day, even though he came at the downfall of their dominance. I don't think I will ever watch as much R6 e-sports as I did back then, but it's still such a good game and great to watch so I will probably tune in now and then. I do have a lot more good memories and could go in great depth about the once I already shared, but it is enough for now :) Thank you again very much, for everything you have done and contributed to this amazing game and I do hope for everyone that you will stay for a long time! ❤

For me, six esports had it‘s biggest downfall with the dead of KiX. Not only the voice of r6 esports died that day, but also the voice of siege in general. He was one of the only persons who had the guts to say what is wrong in the game or in the esports. As a player you knew, that when KiX didn’t stream siege in his freetime, the game would be in a bad state. I remember asking him on stream one day, why he isn’t playing siege lately and he literally said: „nah man i‘m not gonna touch siege until next season, the Game is shit boring right now“ - and he was right. With the Six Invitational 2024, six esports did the biggest leap forward since years. The event itself and also all the announcements of upcoming updates where simply incredible. KiX would be proud of that and i can feel, that he’s looking down on us with a big smile knowing, that the game and it‘s scene going to be great again. RIP

I started playing in 2017 and started watching the Pro League pretty much instantly (was definitely a fan of KS as a german) The good old G2 Dynasty was nice to watch and I really enjoyed your Trip down memory lane. You, Interro and KiX(may he rest in peace) were key parts of what made the games fun to watch for me!! (I'm forgetting a lot of people so kudos to all the people involved in the production of all events) Rainbow Six is the only game my friends and I play on a regular basis and that now for 6+Years. I'm grateful you are still spreading the love for this game we all love (and equally hate at times 😂) I hope you get the recognition and the love you deserve for this video ❤ I wish you all the best! I consider the 2022 SI performance of TSM to be probably the greatest performance of any team in history, based on the absurd statistics, ridiculous hero plays, and opponent quality. Just as Brazil became king, TSM wrecked Brazil. Merc had the most memorable entry frag performance of all time, dude won opening duels at an unprecedented rate. If you were to take every team in Siege history at their absolute peak, I am convinced TSM would reign supreme, but their curse was that they were allowed to have that performance at a cost: their peak was short and they fell off hard afterwards. I still think that TSM 2022 is the highest peak a Siege team ever reached. PS: Part of the reason I believe this is that TSM also ran what I believe to be the most brutal of gauntlets in history and still won. I can't think of any other team in history who had such a tough schedule and came out victorious. This is the opposite of DZ winning a Mickey Mouse trophy, or Soniqs making deep runs off the back of really soft schedules. TSM had the most difficult run you could scrounge up, and they were the winners.
