I made my own summary that's way too long so here: - Dream starts server to play survival and be gay for clout - Tommy decides to wake up and cause violence and is promptly banned but later re-allowed - Dream and Tommy fight over discs and dont stop until the current arc(nobody knows why, we just don't question why discs are the most important things on this server) - Wilbur starts a potion *cough cough*drug*cough cough* empire and then all the European ppl join because "reverse Hamilton haha funny" and then it becomes a country whoops - The Greater Dream SMP and lmanburg fight and l'manburg gets destroyed lol but tommy steps up and starts a duel that he loses but manages to win independance anyway by giving up both discs. o7s in the chat bois - Tommy accidentally kills Dream on a railway, gets all his stuff and then gives it back not soon after and they all went on with their lives - Sapnap kills a ton of pets because he's just chaotic like that and then people enact violence in return and there's a duel but it doesn't really have that much impact honestly - Wilbur wanted to give people the illusion of power so holds an election with only himself running but then whoops people joined and the guy he hired to help him instead wins and becomes a dictator who then exiles them. not very pogchamp - Sapnap kills another pet but it's Tommy's so its more plot-relevant. Dream and Tommy burn down the Eifell Tower, thus causing another skimirsh wherein Dream, Techno and Tommy team up against BBH, skeppy, Sapnap, Antfrost and Punz, who Im pretty sure actually ended up on Dream's side cause he paid him - Pogtopia(Tommy and Wilbur's nation) finally has conflict with Manburg but it doesn't work because most people didn't like Schlatt anyway and they only have an actual fight because Dream is fighting on Schlatt's side and also maybe a traitor but then Schlatt has a heart attack and fucking dies so everyone's like "uh shit guess we won". but no wilbur's the traitor and blows up L'manburg because he's been slowly spiralling into insanity and then begs his dad to kill him and his dad, Philza does. Meanwhile, Technoblade is outraged because the one thing he asked people to not do was start a government but then Pogtopia immediately started a government so he spawns withers and starts shooting people with fireworks. - Technoblade goes into retirement and everything is fine until it's not - Dream exiles Tommy and proceeds to manipulate him as Tommy spirals into depression until he eventually becomes a racoon in Techno's basement. - Dream, Philza, and Technoblade start war with all of L'manburg and win with the power of TNT, withers, a shit-ton of wolves, and just overall extreme violence. Dream is mad because he hates L'manburg, Techno is mad because he was chased down and almost executed(TECHNOBLADE NEVA' DIES) and then Tommy betrayed him after Techno let him live in his house, and Philza is just cause he's a homie. And L'manburg kept him under house arrest and was just generally rude. So L'manburg becomes a crater and nothing is fine. - Dream calls Tommy and Tubbo out to finally get Tommy's discs(oh my god why are they here again. people are dying and all y'all care about is your music discs) and they go despite only having one canon life each, so if Dream kills them, they are permanently dead. Dream wins by holding Tubbo hostage and then forces them to throw away all their things and blows it up. He then leads them into Pandora's Box, a prison he commisioned Sam(Awesamdude) to build. He says he is going to permanently kill Tubbo and then keep Tommy imprisoned. But then everyone is like no, stop and then Tommy kills Dream twice and it is only with the information that Dream has a book that can bring people back from the dead that he doesn't kill him again. Dream ends up in prison and Tommy stops being the main character as Ranboo's plotline begins. Please like I wrote this instead of doing my homework aaaaaaa

Wait so Tommy is the chaotic "good guy" and the seemingly "main character" of the SMP timeline, Dream is a morally gray antihero-esque character that is often butting heads with Tommy, and the rest just take either Dream's or Tommy's side. Interesting. Who knew Dream of all people knew how to write such a good and intriguing story. Or maybe he hired a writer, idk.

Wilbur Soot actually spoke about the writers of the story of dsmp in depth on some Of his streams. But the known stuff comes down to this: At first nothing as scripted, Wilbur wrote most stuff from L’manburg up till his death (not the traitor Eret tho), Tommy Dream and Tubbo and others collab wrote everything up until Prison. The egg plot is massive collab between almost every active member (mainly BBH we’re guessing), Karl, Jack, Niki, Puffy, Quackity, Fundy and Ranboo write their own respective stuff. but in the end everyone has collaborated with the story. There isn’t any hired writers or one single person. It truly is a new and unique form of art/theatre ! :)

Me and my friend started a SMP. We started to gather materials such as wood, stone and iron. There was no wars, breaking rules or stealing. I had a diamond pickaxe, so i went to mine netherite. As i returned from my succesful mining, i made a netherite pickaxe. Little did we know, that pickaxe would start a war. He killed me and took my pickaxe out of jealousy. I started grinding materials, so i could go talk to him and get my pickaxe back. As i started preparing to leave my base, i took my dog, Molly with me. When i got to his base, he killed me and Molly. I started grinding 24/7 to get my revenge for Molly. i got the needed items, and went on a heist. I killed him for good, and took his valuables.
