Hey, Strange Story, but I was once abandoned in an Illuminate planet, when we got the Converter, all THREE of my teammates all straight up left me they left the game. I didn’t leave, I was going to Democracies work like a Helldiver in a now solo mission. When I completed evacuation of the citizens, I realize, I was going to do the Outpost of the Illuminates and the Rogue Station, and did it, and evacuated. I was also on Impossible Difficulty I think…

I love how in helldivers it totally flips the alien genre on its head. Instead of an alien invasion earth, we (the humans) are basically the alien invasion on enemy planets, and I think this is hilarious and amazing (and democratic)

I'm glad I wandered into this super history lesson as I finally managed to sign up for the Helldiver Corps on my birthday yesterday. Makes the time I managed to escape a bot factory alive even with my limbs missing as a civilian engineer worth it. I did have to scavenge Automaton limbs to fix myself for service but I can finally have retribution against not just the bots but all enemies of liberty and managed democracy.
