The whole aspect and design of this zombie reincarnate from Treyark was just a breath of fresh air. I loved the new atmosphere these dudes created. Played 1 game multiplayer, to never touch again. Played 100s of hours of zombies though!

So interestingly, Infinite Warfare and the Extinction timeline from Ghosts seem to be interlinked with one another. It appears that humanity eventually won the war against the Cryptids in Extinction, as it is stated that the Exodus space station, the one that Samantha Cross escaped to at the end of extinction, crashed into a distant icy planet, where she eventually died. However, a corporation, recovered the station and built its own facility on the planet. The Cryptids were somehow summoned to the planet and eventually caused an Undead outbreak.
