The Tampa 2022 map is available on the mod browser on console but most custom maps you will see are only available with external mods on PC at the moment

Honestly, I don’t think that Skater XL or Sessions will be ever as good as any Skate game EA made, because they just doesn’t have the team studio knowledge that such a dev as EA has. EA programmers and artists knows how to make huge maps, how to optimize games and how to make a game feel varied and re playable. That’s why Sessions and Skater XL are lacking of everything and a huge ammount of features to make a gameplay interesting and playable in the long time. I know that it’s hard ton compare and compete because they are small studios compared to EA. But you’ll have to agree that a skate game doesn’t only relies on being realistic, if you’re having glitches and not smooth enough animations, small maps, nothing to do other than only land tricks and no core for the plot of the game, you’ll still just have a game without any flavour. The huge differences are that skilled and big studio devs knows how to make and create immersion. This is small details everywhere that combined makes a huge difference. Look at the carreer mode in Skate 2, the huge amazingly designed and living map, the storyline and the way the game scenarises are ways to create immersion and makes the game feel alive. That’s those details that makes differences between a banger that every generations will remember and games that (maybe as realistic as it is) will be forgotten in 10 years because as fun as it was to land realistic tricks, the game didn’t feel alive and is lacking of personnality. I think that the major mistakes that those games are doing is to only rely on gameplay, the gameplay has to be strong of course because you can’t make a good skating game with a shitty gameplay, but gameplay without details, with lack of map making skills and without core is still feeling like an unfinished game that is only there to land tricks and play another game few hours after when being bored

You should try the most realistic skateboarding game on mobile its called True skate by true axis the game has alot of contents they have graphics on boards made by santa cruz tampa maps and also some custome ones and lots of other boards made by actual skate companys and you can even get your own custom grip and board! And there are people that are actually really good like skater xl good!
