This show always made me think of KND, of course excluding the major adult/teen villains and militaristic/spy side of things. Definitely perfectly captures that childlike fun, of going out into the neighborhood and playing with the other kids, and making up fun games and exploring the backwoods.

Basically in my eyes it’s a child representation of gang and drug distribution, hence candy and the need for maps and territory’s. While having candy/snacks is the gives you power and leverage as if they were drugs. Just a theory and mostly a joke 😅
