My dad was a draken-pilot back in the 70's to 80's, so I've grown up on a lot of stories and trivia. Though Sweden was neutral, Soviet routinely probed the airspace with high altitude surveillance/spy planes over the Baltic Sea. They were so regular the radar crews jokingly used it to signal when it was time for coffee. "Ivan's at Gotland, that means 3pm and that means coffe!" The strategy with those high altitude planes were to fly above the operative ceiling of ground-based anti-air, but there was a trick you could do with Draken. My dad's friend Urban wrote a paper on it and command approved to try it out, and my dad even got to do it a few times. Draken had a beast of an afterburner and good hi-alt capability, so the trick was to point the nose to the stars and just fkn rip up until the air was thinning and the engines nearly flamed out (Draken was a bitch to stall in, best avoid it). If they predicted the Soviet flight-path (and those were pretty predictable) they'd intercept juuust close enough to get a missile lock. Nothing fired, just a clear message that we COULD. Since the cold war was all about posturing, that was the game they played over international waters. That was enough for Red to waive off and keep away for a week or so. Then they came back with another, slightly different path that Swedes analyzed and then intercepted again.

It is able to obtain a deviation, and a variation, which is called "air"

the draken so ass the missiles are so bad they have so low fuel and no range. and they are 1 flare and theyre gone the gun is not centered so hard to aim and only has like 120 bullets and low firerate. The draken only has 12 flares no radar warning receiver and no radar missiles at all and its fighting constantly against mig23ml that are faster than the draken have more flares and better missiles. its so ridiculous they have to buff it

Is that just the rp rates for realistic? Or do you have 500% boosters on as well to get the over 14k rp per match? I play air rb exclusivey as everytime i try air rb my wings rip or my plane cant actually handle the payload it normally carries in ab so i cant get off the ground or high enough before hitting the trees but if thats the normal rates for rb ill be dealing with it till i get better lol

I played all the way thru low tier to high tier. Thats the f5e that wont get off ground with a bomb payload for me. But if i dont fly bombs and just do a2a and the agms then im solid. Plus im really not a big fan of building up the speed and alt off the runway. Rather start at a good height and speed and build off that. I average 3-5 kills per game at 10.0 usually in uptiers for 4-8k rp per match But if you can actually get 30k rp per match from getting the same amount of kills then ill do that all day. I just dont see it scaling like that as the bit I’ve played ive had good matches and never got over 5k-7k rp. But if it was a booster i would understand and stop going crazy. Lol
