As you told the story I was struck by how the fearful missed out. Many mighty and skillful warriors were not chosen because God was looking for the people that had faith in Him to do it just simple faith. I imagine for those that went their faith grew even more.

Just read that Chapter on Gideon last night. Thought about all those young, inexperienced, humble common people God called upon to do extraordinary lopsided war of no winning chance....David...Gideon...Joshua...now Lord Jesus calling us common Christians to fight daily spiritual war against Satan. I must stand my ground for Jesus.

From Indians and song we share land. As an American 1/2 Hebr. it's wonderful to have sufficient water and food made available by these lessons. After being forced away to new land , thank people like Mr. Jackson & Dr. Beck for accepting us as we adjust to help American various tribal folks and custom they bring from where they're from years back.

Main thought of this episode... Why is it important to understand that these biblical people were people? cause they struggled too, but they trusted and obeyed the lord
@robertknowles26992 жыл бұрын
Settling with Law set down on paper ♡. Response to local church or temple seems more efficient use of money, healthy as well. Jesus said 1 for G__ and 1 for Ceasar; who should G__ be ? Sure isn't wasting $ on extra County tax or Giant military or other guns. Glad you ask how people struggle and earn through faith!

In ancient warfare there was one torch bearer for every 20 or 30 troops. So when the Midianites saw 300 torches, they figured the whole place was seething with 6000 to 9000 (plus) attackers. This was a brilliant strategy. It may even have been the same ratio with the trumpet players. Brilliant strategy.
