@@TheBaitCave what is your opinion.I’m only doing plastic for myself,do you think it would be ok to use my only microwave.I don’t use it a lot,maybe just to warm up a coffee or something like that.

@@ronmacdougall9612 I definitely would NOT recommend using the microwave for anything you eat or drink. Plastisol is very dangerous to humans!

I live in NJ and currently do a lot of surf fishing. The stripers get keyed in on peanut bunker, which I think would work well in that boss mold and probably wouldn’t be much different than your shad baits. Keep up the great work. It is exciting to watch a channel get started, wish you a ton of success!

Awesome!! What temperature is best for the griddle with the boss mold? When I “paint” with the powders they seem to shift away from the gill and fin patterns of the mold. Can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong there. Keep the videos coming!
@TheBaitCave3 жыл бұрын
Awesome man, I usually set the mold on the hot plate at 300 or so... too hot will make everything droop terribly. So keep it cool, but still hot. Then once I start pouring the layers, I crank it up to 350-375. Thanks for reaching out!!! I love comments and questions!!!

@TheBaitCave thanks for the videos they really help. When you've topped the mold off do you kill the heat to the grill or leave it on for a while? I'm getting sinking on the top of my lures once cooled. 😩

Since you probly got some amazing pucks for some remelts my good sir. I challange you to make the most epic remelt 3 color combo. One made with the tripple injectior, and one handpour. Lets see what you come up with? 😄 Remeber, the rule is just that it needs to be the same 3 remeltcolors. How you end up mixing in stuff is up you!

@The Bait Cave You asked what we want to see. Have you ever thought about designing and making your own molds? I make a lot of baits myself, but I only make baits I design. You get a real satisfaction catching a fish on a bait you 100% created. I'm a big fan of MB as well
@TheBaitCave3 жыл бұрын
I definitely have thought of that... but marling baits is my best friend.... I can't compare nor want to compare with the molds he brings over...
@FishNFoolLures3 жыл бұрын
@@TheBaitCave Well why not do a collaboration with MB on an idea you have for a bait to get you started. Don't sell yourself short until you try at least. I have designed a lot of baits, some were total failures and some were totally amazing fish catchers. I designed a sinking soft plastic stick bait that out fishes senko's 2 to 1 and lasts longer. It is a totally new type of bait, not just a clone of a senko like all the other bait companies have made. If I had the money to market it and bring it into production, I know it would replace the Senko as the #1 selling bait in the world. I through trail and error have made about 15 fantastic baits that would be marketable if I had the means to do. So don't give up so easy, and I'm sure Nate would help you out.
