Nice in-depth breakdown of some of the best Marvel art ever made. As cool as they are, I can't mess with the newer stuff. I don't like all the numbered cards, countless parallels and impossible to complete sets. I love and treasure my '92-'96 MM sets and the fact that they are 99% complete (missing the '95 Emotion parallel and the 2 Mirage cards).

Interesting discussion, thanks for sharing. Is Mr. Fantatstic in the 1995 Marvel Masterpieces series was only made in one version? Meanwhile, other FF members such as The Thing, Human Torch, and Invisible Woman were made in 3 variations by different artists.

Loved the video 📹 but thats why I started collecting masterpieces after 1996 was after that you had to keep buying box after box and boxes just to get one set and then u find out there's more sets in this version ot was to much money 💰 for me it was getting out of hand ✋️.

@SpideyHits No, they're not comic books. They're just big giant Marvel masterpieces, cards. They're the size of a comic book. But they don't have any pages. It's just a one picture, but in each stack. There's 5 or 6 pictures. They're by different artists. They look almost just like the regular trading cards except they're large

Sorry Fausto... but that 93 MM Wolverine is one of the most horrible looking cards I've ever seen in MM. For being a "Super Premium" product, it looked like a 5 year olds rendition of one of the most popular characters in all of Marvel.

would agree to disagree, art changes fast. you could buy a dekooning back in the 1950s for 1000-2000$ now theyre over 50m a piece. '93 has grown on a lot of die hard collectors.
