Jeez. Seems like a lot of people shitting on this game. I think it looks great for a $25 title. Some of my favorite experiences come from these more modestly priced, but still very fun games. When done well, you can really feel the heart and soul put into them by the devs. Thanks Matteo.

I'm enjoying the game. I'm not big into action and the game usually lets me take things at my own pace, picking off enemies with a bow. It also takes saves frequently so when I die because my reflexes aren't good I don't lose much progress.

This game looks awesome. Love melee combat VR games, and I also like platformers & parkour gameplay. Also makes me want to play Guardians Frontline, something I haven't gotten around to despite being a StarCraft and FPS fan.

I havent tried it yet but it looks like a decent title. This studio is extremely competent, the way they improved Guardians over time is something that should be in the game dev history books: from a viral Reddit post showing a jedi-like telekinesis push to a beast of a game with a full campaign suitable to be played 1st person or diorama RTS, with multiplayer, vehicles and a level editor. Ember Souls wont have that much replayability, but these people certainly know what they do

OHHH, they made Gladius! I thought those fighting mechanics looked super familiar. Definitely no Blade and Sorcery, but I enjoyed Gladius.

Looks fun, and like someone who's good and gaming, and someone who is not so great, or more of less a VR gaming beginner, can enjoy. Thanks for the info, Matteo! PS: pretty damned sick of people expecting a $25 game created in VR (which is a hard platform to develop in) to be the next "Half Life: Alyx", or a $500 headset to have every possible bell and whistle, along with "human eye" clarity. An awful lot of so-called "advanced" VR gamers sound like they need to take some "Grow-Up" Pills.

Not sure why everyone is trolling this game it looks good and any little bugs or funny glitches will most likely get worked out I just bought a meta quest 3 and I’m absolutely amazed. Just imagine once they really figure out how to fully optimize the games with the chip set. If no one else is excited I am.

After trying myself on Quest 3 I have mixed feelings The environments are beautiful, but the characters could be better Also every single aspect of the gameplay you feel it could be improved The melee, the parkour, even grabbing objects it's not perfect, I saw some people complaining about this in Arizona Sunshine, but I think it's much worse in this game

The game seems too ambitious for what the devs wanted to do. It looks really cheap compared to its references. But the persian style, the parkour and plateform seem nice. Maybe one day on sales

@jamesonyekwere9607 it's feels a lot like earlier blade and sorcery and most Parkor mechanics feel really good. Devs can't win, people bash them when there is no story content, when Mechanics are 10 out of 10, graphics aren't hla or even when the price is too low or too high.

@danielbarron6206 i don't think was a hype video nor was it a review. I just showed off some gameplay and talked about my experience. I mentioned it's indie level quality, doesn't go as hard as blade and sorcery nomad and graphically it looks similar to that game (not amazing) combat was very satisfying as I stated and parkour felt good

I have not played it to be honest I’m a dad lol and I don’t have much time I’m almost done with Batman I got metro and triangle strategy to still play. So my time is very valuable I was looking forward to this game but I just don’t see this working for me based on what I have seen.

We have to start asking questions why by this instead of Assassins Creed Nexus, Asgards Wrath 2, or other great games like it. I’m not saying it’s a bad game what I’m saying is these games either now need to be priced right at like 10-20 dollars or come in at premium VR prices of 30-50 dollars. The middle doesn’t work now anymore.

Not a big difference between 20 and 25. 10 to 20 is extremely low, especially when meta gets 30% and there is game engine licensing. There is always a place for indie titles. It's also has a very different feel compared to both of those games. At the end of the day urs about fun

@@andrebillups4079 I mean the fact that this isn't a "Premium VR" game is why it sits in the middle. It didn't have that budget to make, so they aren't trying to charge those prices. I appreciate that. Some people can't justify dropping 50-60 bucks at a time, so I think games in this price range are good for them.

@ yea I agree it’s just that now with games like Asgards worth going to Quest + for 8 dollars a month idk gif there’s going to be room for these games anymore but lol the one advantage these games have I will say is they don’t require nearly as much space which at times makes them more attractive overall then the larger 20-30gb games.

@andrebillups4079 asgard is one of my favorite games but it didn't stop me from having fun with this. The same goes for titles like roblox, Trombone champ, demeo, spatial ops. Etc. Everyone has different tastes, there is plenty of room for a game like this. People love genotype which is on the same level in terms of shooters

Name me two upcoming exciting meta exclusives, even one. We all thought ready at dawn was a great studio with upcoming exclusives but shut down. I would be nervous if I was an meta owned studio.
