One sign of a true church is the love they have for people. What are they doing to help people, in and out of their church? A church that does not really care for people does not have the love of God in their church. This is a dominant sign when looking for a true church of God.

I think the church does not equip people with apologetics. They know the "Bible says". But that does dot fly in our ungodly culture !

Millennials haven’t left the church for a lack of effort by the church to disciple them. The content of those efforts is the issue. The church, corporate America and conservative politics are all seen as the wealthy and prosperous establishment, and for the church to teach the Bible in a way that perpetuates inequality and even persecution, is why millennials have left. The 20th century consensus on scripture and the human condition is one that is not applicable to the experience of millennials and that is what needs to change.
